This thing is a piece of garbage. It worked fine for the first few bags I sealed at power 5. Then it would not seal a bag and be able to release it. It would just seam the bag. I then had to turn the thing up to 10 and pull really hard and it would sometimes release. But when it did it would not leave a clean break line like it did when I used the machine for the first few bags. I had to take the machine apart and re-organize the heating element and it would work one time. Then it would be right back to not working right the next time. Save your money and buy something of higher quality.

This impulse bag sealer is heavier than it looks with a solid-feeling build and overall good quality. It works perfectly for sealing mylar, poly bags and PVC shrink bags. There is no cutter on this model, but that doesn't bother me. It comes with an extra heat strip too, but i'll need to seal a lot of bags until that's necessary. In general, this sealer looks like it should last years of regular use.
