The Victor Safe-Set Rat Trap was designed with safety in mind. The Safe-Set feature was engineered to prevent accidental triggers while still keeping the elimination clean and humane. Not only is it safe for use around kids and pets when used as directed, it is also easy to use regardless of your experience level. The trap can easily be set with 1 quick click using your hand or foot. Then just place the activated trap into a location with rodent activity. For your convenience, the unique bait hood eliminates bait theft. When rats approach for a treat, the trap immediately springs closed to eliminate the pest on contact. All that's left to do is dispose of the rodent and clean the trap so it's ready to use again and again. With another quick click you can easily release and dispose of the rodent.

    cant steal bait
    having a farm and animals, rodents are an unfortunate part. I need to place them out of reach for the chickens and geese and be able to see if they had been snapped. I do like how the traps are loaded with bait so it cannot be stolen.

      Being on a farm rodents are always around This helps me keep them at bay. They have to be placed where the rodents are and also in an area that the chickens and geese cannot get to. This has a unique way to load an enticement for the rodents so they can not get to the bait by loading underneath. U have had it out for over a week now it has been set off once but did not get anything
