A: I have tried every mouse trap out there, this one is the best. It will work for any mouse strong enough to raise the bait cover. The thing about baby mice is that they grow up fast and get stronger. After a kill and empty it often does not require re-baiting.
A: This product will work for mice of various sizes.
A: This device is activated by the movement of a small cover over the bait box. If the baby mouse is curious/strong enough to lift the cover then the trap will kill the mouse.
A: I have killed baby mice with my trap
A: No. You need to add it. I put peanut butter. Do not put it too close to the front or they can get to it without triggering the trap. Put it so they have to out their nose into the slot and then done.
A: No, this product does not come with bait.
A: Bait is not included with this trap. We recommend using a pea-sized amount of peanut butter as bait.
A: Joel: No but a dab of peanut butter will bring them to the trap. I hope that helps, Hank
A: No We used a dab of peanut butter
A: No. You have to lift the "lid" at the entry site and place the food (i.e. peanut butter) inside. Then just raise the strike bar and it's set!
A: No, the bait is not included. Suggest a small amount of peanut butter and rolled oats for mouse- pleasing dinner. Don’t overload with giant amounts of peanut butter on trap or they will steal food and not se off traps. Place traps perpendicular to wall and use a trap every 3 - 4 feet.
A: No, I used my own bait and anchored it with peanut butter so they could not just manage to take the bait and run, worked perfectly.
A: No the bait was not included. I used peanut butter...you could use whatever you want. It is similar to the old fashion style traps.
A: No, you need to provide your own "bait" and place it in the covered compartment. I use peanut butter and have caught 10+ mice so far with these traps.
A: Yes. I recommend you wash it once you killed a mouse in it. The mouse put out a smell that warns others. I toss it in dish washer or let it soak in dish soap and water. Let it dry and then rest and place. You use dish soup and dishwasher because those are normal scent of your house ... bleach and other disinfectants have odors that will keep the mice away from the trap.
A: yes. just remove the dead mouse and clean. Load more bait (peanut butter) as needed.
A: Definitely reusable! Often without re-baiting!
A: Yes. Just dispose of rodent, clean out bait cavity (if needed), replace bait (if needed), and reset trap.
A: Yes, this trap can be used again and again or disposed of, depending on your personal preference.
A: Candi: Yes, I've re-baited mine with peanut butter a number of times. I also used rubber gloves for the procedure and to dispose of the critters. I hope that helps, Hank
A: yes, just add more bait
A: yes. if the kill bar doesn't lock in place right away, just lower it, move it around a little bit (back and forth, side to side) and try again. It will eventually lock in place.
