Anyone else notice a definite presence of some sort of insect eggs in these? I picked up numerous perfectly round spheres about the size and appearance of pearled cous-cous and they would pop when I squeezed them. I'm trying not to think about it but they looked a lot like round termite eggs. I put 20 bags of this stuff in a raised garden bed so I really do hope I'm wrong.

Those insect looking eggs are time released fertilizer! If you have squished those with your fingers I would wash my hands really good before handling food or accidentally wiping your eyes! Hope you have a beautiful garden this summer with no worries!

how much soil do I need for a 4' x 4' planter
Asked by: Jeff
There is no math needed. If you have cubic planter 4 feet side length, then it's 64 cubic feet planter (4^3). You need 64 bags 1 CF each. If your planter is not square you can still follow this rule because cylinder with diameter X can always fit into the cube with side X (you will have a just little bit of soil left). But are you sure it's feet not inches. 64 CF planter is big!

Very clean. Reviews of other similar products all mention debris in but Vigoro not so much so went with it and very pleased I did, plus the 1 cu ft bags alot easier to carry. New seeded grass seems to like as coming up right on time.

Too early to say how well it works, but texture and substance seems OK, and it accepts water readily. It is certainly better than the $2 stuff (bought 60 bags!) I bought from another store, but sold here also.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lots of Plastic I bought this product for the first time yesterday. I started using my hands to break up the clumps and found hard plastic in the soil. I found multiple hard types of plastic and found what looked like pieces of caution tape. I will stick to Miracle Gro from now on
