These sturdy twist ties are good to have around. I'm a novice gardener and when I'm in the garden center there are a few new gadgets sold to help hold up vines. I've paid the few extra dollars to try them out but after watering or once the vine grows the device has to be repositioned. These twist ties are cost efficient, simple to use without trying to stick a post in the planter at the right angle or looping the plant in the hook of the stand. These twist ties will not allow the plant to slip out of place and do not have to be reapplied once the plant grows. The length of the twist tie is 6 inches which is a lot longer than a bread tie so it is both better for application and durability. One pack comes with 100 ties. Even though it’s advertised to use as planter tie, they can be used for so much more around the house.

I really like these pre cut plastic twists. They are sturdier than a regular twist like you might find included with your trash bags. They also seem more rounded, which makes them nice if you are going to use them for gardening, since they won't bite into your plant. They are eight inches long, which should allow you to go around most plants and vines. I like the plastic coating on them. They should last all summer, even in rain.

At first glance these seem expensive for what appear to be regular twist ties, but they're not anything like regular twist ties. I can break the wire in a regular twist tie in less than 30 seconds, but no matter how long I bent it I was unable to break these - sturdy indeed! These are well worth it for eliminating any concern about durability.
At 8" they're an appropriate length and the green color is great for use in the garden.
There was California chemical warning sticker on the back of the package, but I couldn't find any more information about which chemicals it might contain.

We ordered these from HomeDepot.com, and they were packaged well and delivered on time.
My wife is the gardener of the house, and she loves these sturdy twists. They are a great size, and she really likes these pre-cut ones as apposed to the other kind that comes in one long roll that you cut to size.
This package contains 100 twists, and each twist is 8 inches long.

The "8 in. Sturdy Tags (100 per Bag)" (*), is a good product. I have used this type of twists for a long time with excellent results. I use these twists mostly in my garden to secure my tomatoes, peppers also to hang name tags to all my plants. They are very sturdy, inconspicuous, last for a long time, can be reused .Â

These are going to be great when spring comes.
I have all kinds of vining plants that will need these.
I have a sun parasol plant that vines everywhere these will be great.
I have Roses,tomatoes and clematis vines that can use these as well.
Being green, these ties are not going to show out they will blend perfectly.
I do recommend you try theses.

Vigoro 100-Piece Secure Plastic twists
can't compare to the old twists that were made of wire, which bent anyway needed. I miss them so much! Please go back to making those. I will put up with these weak, unflexible plastic substitutes, but I will keep looking for the old wire ones covered in green plastic - they were the best.
