No, it comes from the local Home Depot and it's a flat express delivery charge, $79. I did get a discount on the mulch for ordering 30 bags. I think it's a good deal over hauling it home yourself.

Bob, I think the question is no necessarily whether it is killing your vegetables, rather are there chemicals in the mulch (such as the dye) that the vegetables will absorb, and then you and your family will eat? Are there harmful chemicals that makes vegetables not safe to eat?

Being that this is a wood product, I worry about termites. Thoughts?

This mulch attracts termites. I bought a few bags and stacked them in my yard. Didn't use them for a couple months. When I moved them there were termites under the bottom layer of bags.

Moldy white substance
I purchased this product on 11/15/2020 and it has turned white over a large area, as if it has molded. When you rub it with your shoe, it’s a white powdery substance. Other reviewers complained of this same issue and I ignored them. This is ugly and cannot be healthy and will need to be removed and replaced at great expense, since I injured my foot and will have to hire someone to help me. I have used the brown mulch and Vigoro red mulch and have not had a problem. Buyer beware.

Vigoro red mulch faded after just 48 hours
Bought and installed Vigoro red mulch 2 days ago. Looked great out of the bag, today it’s barely red. Have used this product before and have never had this problem. Not about to redo the garden beds but be aware of this quality control issue. Im disappointed to say the least after this back breaking work - I wonder how the 12-month color guarantee works?

I ordered 100 bags of this mulch and I’ve been very pleased with it. All my bags had evenly sized mulch in it and not a single piece of trash was found. It looks black when it’s holding moisture and more of a dark brown when it’s dried out. It’s been down for a week so I can’t comment as to how well it holds it’s color yet. As you can see in the picture, the front corner of my yard was laid that day and the rest had been laid about a week prior and had dried out a bit. I originally ordered 50 bags and realized I needed another 50 so I suggest ordering more than you think you need in order to save on multiple delivery fees.

Don't breathe!
Bought 80 bags of the red mulch. Now my front area stinks and full of flies since the mulch was full of stinkhorns apparently. This house has been here since 1997 with no issues. Replaced the old much out front and these stink horns started growing. So dang horrid.

This is a complete SCAM! Bought it on Friday October 16th 2020. Finished landscaping job this afternoon day. 5 minutes after finished, a 20 minutes rain left the mulch with no color. Time, money and work wasted.

Worst Mulch!!!
Lot of waste in the bags and mold/fungus in it!!! waste of money.

(20) bags of mold
If I could give this negative stars I would. I ordered (20) bags of this mulch based on the great reviews, so far I got (4) bags of mold. I dare not open the other (16) and it smells like rotten vegetation!

I bought this black mulch in May 2020, about 40 bags. It looked great for about a month. This is how the "Black 12 Month Guaranteed Color" looks below today next to another company's black mulch. I asked about the color warranty at Home Depot and of course they will not stand behind what they sell and was told to contact the manufacturer. So don't waste your money unless you don't mind replacing it every other month.
