Vigoro Ready-To-Spray Weed & Feed 20-0-0 is the fast, easy way to control weeds and fertilize your lawn in just one treatment. This ready-to-spray, hose-end formula kills major broadleaf weeds in lawns, including clover, dandelion, chicory, poison ivy, poison oak, ragweed, plantain, chickweed, and many other listed weeds. At the same time, it provides a 20-0-0 nitrogen feeding to supplement your regular fertilizer program. Spray Vigoro Ready-To-Spray Weed & Feed 20-0-0 any time during the growing season when weeds are actively growing. For best results, thoroughly water the lawn 1 to 2 days before treating. If certain tough weeds are not dead within 3 weeks, spot treat. Do not apply when temperatures are above 85 degrees or damage to your lawn may occur. Simply connect a garden hose to the hose-end sprayer nozzle and go—no manual mixing is required. This 32-ounce bottle covers up to 7,500 square feet of lawn. It will take about 20 minutes to apply—actual treatment time will vary depending on water pressure.

Can this burn if over-applied? These type of hose end sprayers always apply way too fast for my small lawn. I am assuming I can put this in my own hose end sprayer? Label says good for 5000sqft for Northern lawns ~ 32oz/5000sqft= .0064oz/1sqft x 1000sqft = 6.4oz (for a 1000sqft lawn). Only issue is I don't know the amount per gallon of water amount, but that should be less of a problem.
Asked by: Nic
The manufacturer has developed the applicator to distribute certain amounts by what's described on the instructions. Turn your water volume down. That should help. Also do it around one hour before sunset. That will help because the sun is not so hot. The only way you can burn it is by spraying in one spot to long. Spray vigorously in a back and.forth motion and keep moving. You will see in a couple of days how well you did. Then you can reapply accordingly.

32 oz. Ready-to-Spray Concentrate Weed and Feed is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 294.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product WORKS!!!!!!! Weed n Feed - I read the directions, and sprayed the product on part of my back yard...a test area. Within about 3 days I noticed the wild onions were wilting and yellowing. Withnin 6 days I observed the patches of clover beginning to yellow...and my grass got very green. I plan on buying at least two more bottle and doing the front yard and the rest of the back yard. Suggestions for application - do long sweeing strokes over an large area. Then, if you have specific problem, like my big patches of clover, I stood right over the clover, pointed the sprayer at point blank range and gave the clover a few tight short strokes with the sprayer. That 4x4 patch of clover is gone and all that remains is green grass. Highly recommend this product.

It has been 9 days since I sprayed. I sprayed on a dry afternoon and there were a couple of dry days that followed.
