I was going to ask this. I feel like I will try it, it’s worth a shot.
questionable very heavy duty take water awhile to penetrate
Absolutely I think this is a great linner for that job
just under 400 square feet
The fabric seems strong but I am not sure if it will hold up with a large amount of traffic. If you have a very smooth surface for the fabric to lay on and it is not soft and you put down a 2-4 inch layer of crushed rock on top of it, I believe it will stand up to construction traffic. I will hold up much better than the regular grad fabric.
yes
Yes there are. 4 rolls of 100 ft each, so 400 sq. ft. per roll, 1600 total
I think it would be. However, if you want zero moisture going through the fabric, this would not be the best product.
absolutely! It will keep soil separated from stone and drain. be sure to overlap the cloth enough to stop soil infiltration.
if this is new preparation I recommend spraying herbicide directly on the ground that is being prepared to be covered and allow it to dry as per product directions. Then install fabric over soil. after installed and finished covering is in place I will then use spot spray to catch individual weeds that migrate into site. Landscape fabric does not prevent weeds from migrating in to the site and sprouting above the fabric but it is easy to pull them as they cannot root easily.
