This product is a quick and economical solution to provide some additional privacy to your outdoor space or used for bordering your yard or garden. The 6 ft. tall x 16 ft. W natural reed fence is made for patio shading, concealing unsightly objects, soundproofing, duck blinds and other outdoor uses as well. A: I attached mine to a three-foot fence and so far so good, it has survived several storms. I have used a lot of zipties to keep it in place though and the fence it is attached to is not too exposed.

All of the bad reviews are true

After reading all of the bad reviews, I thought maybe HD had started stocking better bamboo fencing ( Since HD had responded to all of the reviews) Well, No such luck. These reed fence panels are about as cheaply made as can possibly be. The ones I bought a few years back are sturdy as heck, the ones i bought yesterday are LITERALLY made with STRAW, they bend just like straw) What really sucks is this is the only fencing like this that HD stocks. We even bought extra to double up with it & still it's totally see thru. Cheap Cheap Cheaply made, I think Loews might have a better option. HD is going down hill ( The fact they donated to the former president sure doesn't help either)

Don't believe the listing photo

The real product does NOT look like the listing photo. Take a good look at customer's uploaded pictures to get an idea of what you're buying. This does NOT provide privacy. The actual reeds are very spaced out. I tried to use this as a roof for a pergola and it still let 95% of the sunlight through. They are basically useless unless you layer 2-3 of them on top of each other, in which case the cost is not worth it when you can have many other products. I returned 4 packs of these to the store.

Don't be fooled, there's at least half to 3/4 of an inch between reeds, no privacy at all!

Sticks are a quarter inch apart

This product is poorly made. If you’re planning on using this for shade, don’t. The spaces between each stick are huge. Nothing like they show you in the picture. The moment I opened it I knew I was going to return it.

I use this to hide the front hitch of my trailer and as a skirting (easy to cut to height). If you don't stretch it, it will minimize what's behind it, but you can still see through. Can always double it up to hide more.
