Great hook for hanging baskets
This shepherd's hook is very strong and sturdy and perfectly holds up my beautiful heavy flower basket on my deck. I secured it with two brackets to my deck upright post.

Easy to put in the ground. I recommend placing it where it is not close to large tree branches to keep squirrels away. Also pole is skinny enough to make it hard for squirrels to climb. I greased the pole to make it even harder for them. So far, so good after a week. Birds like it’s placement and are enjoying the seed. The bird feeder also came from Home Depot.

Bought this to hang large and heavy bird feeder. full of seed, the bird feeder is at least 15 lbs before you add the weight of the squirrels hanging on it. This has square tubing that is structurally stronger than the first one I tried. Originally went with a lighter product (round tube) for about $5 less, but it bowed under the weight of the bird feeder and i returned it for this one. Very sturdy, should have gotten this first. will probably buy another of the same product to hang a wind chime
