A:  They come with black screws. In concrete (cement) blocks I would use a #8 x 1-1/2 in. EZ Metal Zinc Wall Anchor

A:  1 1/4 or 1/2 deck screws will work great. Strong and dark colored to match.

A:  I mount these brackets to 4 x 4 posts, and all you do is drill a couple of small holes and use the screws provided.

A:  The bracket has two screw to be used in the two holes on the flat part of the bracket which is against the post on pointing toward the ground.

A:  You can mount the bracket to the post by the provided screws.

A:  Maria See attached photo. I've hung a hummingbird feeder from it, but a planter would work just the same. It's difficult to tighten the screws because the holes are located directly behind the bracket, but it can be done with a long screwdriver (or a small, right-angle screw driver/driver bit).
