A: Each fence panel requires 2 fence posts. When installing more than one panel, the panels are connected with a single post. To calculate the total number of posts needed for a project, always purchase 1 more stake than the number of panels. For example, if you are installing 4 panels, you will need 5 posts. The same rule applies when including a gate.
A: You will need 2 stakes for the end panels. For the other panels just 1 to connect 2 panels. The rings on the end of the panel fits together with another panel, then the pole slides into the rings holding the 2 panels together.
A: Thank you for your inquiry. By leaving 6 inches of space at the bottom of the fence, it would unfortunately become very unstable. The spikes on the post need to be driven into the ground so the top of the wings are flush with the soil line. To increase the space under the fence, you would need to install the spikes in a more shallow depth, which would lead to instability.
A: Hi Marie, Yes, these are the correct no dig posts to use with the Vigoro 37.1 in. H x 45.35 in. W Cedar Garden Fence Panel, Internet item # 317884975. Thank you!
A: I’m not sure what cedar panels you are referring to, but these were designed to go with the Vigaro Beaumont panels. These panels are aluminum and the system is no dig fencing.
A: No, I don’t believe that would work. They are meant to be used with the metal fence or gates specifically.
