A:  The gates hang on the fence poles, (poles sold separately with included anchors) the gates have plastic rings to help align them. If you need more black pipes work.

A:  I installed my own gate and it is very easy, the poles slide through the little feet to connect it to the next panel of the fence. 

A:  The gates aren’t exactly the same spacing but fit just fine and look good.

A:  You don’t. Pull the post out of the ground and insert it through the top of the fence, the gate, and the bottom of the fence and back into the ground stake. 

A:  If by “rounded bob” you mean the round finial at the top of the post, that doesn’t come off.  Instead, insert the entire post through the gate and fence panel and into the stake. The stake should be pounded into the ground first. Aligning the stake is the most critical part.  The rest goes together pretty easily after that.  I used a small sledge hammer and a block of wood (to protect the stake opening) to drive the stakes into my hard clay soil. 

A:  You don’t, the pole is pushed down through the rings of the gate and into the anchor, for the fence pole.

A:  The round knob in the middle of the two small gate panels is permanently attached to a “lever” that lays across both panels. You un-lock with panels by pulling the spring-loaded “pin” located on the side of the lever and then lifted up.

A:  Thank you for your inquiry. The top of the post is welded, and should not be removed. The bottom of each post has a spike that can be detached for installation, by removing the screw. The screw can be thrown away and is not required for installation, it is only used to keep the spike and post together in the store. Thank you, Product Support
