Product Overview
Villa Lagoon Tile's "Spark C Monte Verde" is a 2-color, 8 in. x 9 in. hexagonal cement tile, using Monte Verde green and White mineral pigments. This is a true cement tile, made by hand in our "South Beach" tile studio, and will have the rich variation and perfect "imperfections" of a luxury handmade product. Cement tile may be thicker and heavier than you imagine, so samples are recommended if you are unfamiliar with the product. This Villa Lagoon Tile geometric cement tile design, "Spark C", literally radiates streaking beams from one corner to the other. Sold in boxes of 8 tiles. Overage of at least 10-15% highly recommended, as additional orders may not ship from the same batch. All cement tiles MUST be sealed.
- 2.96 square feet, 8 pieces per box. Box weight is 16 lb
- Grade 1, first-quality cement tile for indoor and outdoor floors and walls
- 9.1 in. width x 7.88 in. length x 0.47 in. thick, 23 cm x 20 cm x 12 mm
- Unglazed, matte smooth finish with a low sheen and slight variation in tone. High/Low gloss finish can be reached by applying appropriate sealant
- P.E.I. Unrated. Cement tiles are not glazed. Color layer is several millimeters thick
- Non-Vitreous flooring has water absorption of more than 7%, sealant is required in all applications, and will determine suitability for application
- Frost resistant with appropriate installation and sealant. Installation should be water-tight
- Residential and commercial use
- Don't forget your coordinating trim pieces, grout, backerboard, thinset, sealant, and installation tools
- All online orders for this item ship via parcel ground and may arrive in multiple boxes
- It is recommended you purchase a minimum of 10% overage to account for error, design cuts and patterns. Purchase all tiles needed for the project in one order, as additional orders may not ship from the same batch
- There might be slight color variation from tile to tile as they are individually handmade. Variation in colors should be expected and are part of richness and charm of cement tiles
- Neutral color un-sanded grout is recommended as contrasting grout may stain the tiles
- All tiles and sub-floors need to be completely dry before applying sealant, to be done before and after grouting

Color completely different in person
Definitely get the sample before you buy! The color shown online is completely different, whereas the images shown online show a vibrant lime green, but the actual tile is a very muted teal! Not at all what I wanted, and will not be using.

The color portrayed online isn't the color of the actual...
The color portrayed online isn't the color of the actual tiles. The online photos show a beautiful emerald green but they are not near that color. They are a very lite, pastel, sage green color. I will be returning these. I was so excited to use these :-(

Hi Koda! We strive to show our tiles as true-to-life as possible, however everyone's monitors and screens are different. We can even drag an image from one display to another on a multi-monitor computer (same brand and model of screen), and see a slight difference. I'm a bit concerned from your description that you may have received the wrong product as a sample. We have a very similar product, "Spark C May" which better matches the color you describe. color
Nice looking tile, however the color is not as presented in the the pics. It’s much lighter more pastel, certainly not as bold as the green depicted. Somewhat dissapointing.

Hi Peter! We always recommend clients obtain samples first, for this very reason. We put a great deal of work into our graphics, made from scans of actual tiles, and color-corrected by a trained graphic designer, however everyone's screens are different, ambient lighting while viewing, as well as the context of the surrounding page. If this was not a sample, please feel free to contact our office at 1-251-968-3375 for technical support. Tiles for installation are shipped "raw", and may need cleaning and sealant, which will alter (and usually deepen) the colors.
