Kiln dried to ensure bug free and milled to 3/8 in. thickness containing random widths of 3 in., 4 in., 5 in. in and lengths from 11 in. - 46 in. Pre-finished with a beautiful rich stain and ready to install. Manufactured from Sustainably Recovered Wood. Can be installed with a gap (shiplap look) or without. Hand selected and processed with care. These planks will be the focal point of any room. Looks amazing on a ceiling with any white shiplap room. Can also be used for a variety of applications including covering ceilings, doors, bars, islands and more. Can be installed vertically, horizontally or in any pattern you can imagine. Simple DIY installation with a finish or brad nailer.

This wood shows one color for your company photo and a totally different color in the installation photo. Is this actually more teak toned or brown?
The product description states that the planks are pre-finished with a beautiful rich **brown** stain. While the photos may appear different due to lighting and individual screen variations, the actual color is brown. Please note that product pictures may show a gapped installation with black backing (supplied by the purchaser) which can also affect the overall appearance.
Is this suitable for over a shower (ie water resistant/proof)?
This product is made of wood and has an oil-based finish. While this finish offers some protection, it is not waterproof. Therefore, it is not recommended to install this product directly over a shower where it will be exposed to direct water contact and high humidity. Prolonged exposure to moisture could cause the wood to warp, swell, or develop mold. You may want to consider other water-resistant materials for shower applications.
