Great narrow fridge, especially for rv’s

I replaced my 5.7 cubic foot Danby fridge with this one and I am very happy. I have been using it for over 2 months and have been monitoring it for its temperatures and humidity levels. I found the best setting was in the middle with freezer temps ranging from -6 to 3 F and fridge temps from 37.9 to 43.8. Personally, I wish the freezer would be a little warmer and the fridge be a little cooler and that you could adjust them independently. The defrost cycle uses 175 watts to run and when it runs overnight ( I am running this on an inverter with solar panels) it uses an additional 7 ah of battery but typically it uses 30 ah of battery overnight (with a 90+ efficient inverter). A trick I learned is if you power cycle it for a minute in the morning, it will run the defrost cycle 5 to 6 hours later, so you do not waste your battery overnight, but ymmv , sometimes it just does what it wants (must be a humidity sensor or something) Overall, I am very happy with this fridge and because of it’s narrow dimensions, I was able to get a much larger fridge than I thought could fit in my camper.

Do not recommend!

Started making weird noises off and on pretty much from day 1. After a couple of spoilage issues after grocery shopping I realized its not cooling properly. I have it set just 1 notch below the highest setting and it will not get colder than 43 degrees. Well that won't keep your food from going bad. I also paid $499 and now it sells for $299 just 5 months later I am also peeved about that. But the main thing is its junk and does not work.

I called a day and a half in advance. I said I would not be there. I wanted the unit dropped off Delivery company showed up and drove away with the refrigerator Very disappointing as I drove three hours to get there Customer service for Home Depot turn the truck around and they made the delivery before I got there. I found it sitting on the front steps as requested. All is well that ends well.
