Great feature perfect for smaller rooms
This portable air conditioner is a great option for those that are looking to cool a room that is no bigger than 250 sq ft. The unit does a great job when it is cooling that size room. The thermostat works great and the unit is able to cycle on and off throughout the cooling period to set the desire room temperature. The unit is fairly quiet and start up and shutdown are only slightly louder than when the unit is running. The unit also comes with a handy remote and all needed weather stripping to properly set the window exhaust unit up. The unit is also capable of being a dehumidifier and no need to manually drain the unit after using. Overall this is an excellent unit and definitely recommend it.

Solid appliance
Very solid unit and easy set up. The different window vent adapter/slats allow venting thru most typical windows like the 30" window in my pic. Necessary weatherproofing is also easy to install around these slats. I would prefer to not have a unit that takes up floor space, but it doesn't take much room and is providing much needed additional cooling to a 20x15 room above a garage with poor HVAC air supply on super hot days/nights in a neighborhood where window units are not allowed by the HOA. It's cheaper just to use an additional unit in that room until the HVAC goes in a few years and just have the duct work fixed then. This unit made the final hot days of summer much more comfortable at a reasonable cost in electricity. It runs pretty quiet; just white-noise and I also very much appreciate having the remote to adjust temps at night. I actually just drained it and rolled it into the utility closet until next spring. Very nice unit.

Easy to Install, Easy to Use and Looks Great
This is so much easier to install than one of the old standard window units. The unit sits on the floor and is easily moved with its smooth rolling wheels. Everything is included to get you started. The only thing you'll need is a screwdriver, pencil and scissors. There is a 'Quickstart' sheet that covers most everything to get it up and running. The use and care guide is more detailed. Both are clear and easy to understand. This is no flimsy setup. Upon unpacking I was impressed by the quality in which everything is made. Installation is quick and easy. Everything just makes sense and it all goes well. Operation is simple too. I love that it can all be handled by remote. There's a Sleep Mode and you can set a timer too. They even supply the batteries for the remote. With the heat we've had this year, one of these on stand-by can be critical. We've had months of 90+ days here. sister-in-law and father-in-law's air quit working during some of the hottest days and it was more than a week before they could get repairs done. Both had to scramble for other options. This is so much nicer and easier to use, plus there's no ugly unit hanging from your window. It's perfect for those areas that need more cooling or just don't have any at all. It's a great looking machine. You won't regret it.

Great small room portable air conditioner, dehumidifier, and fan!
I like this Vissani 6000BTU portable air conditioner that has 3 modes because I can also use it as a dehumidifier or a fan to circulate the air in the room. It has so many convenient features and works very well in a small room. It is quiet (49db) and it has 1.25" wheels on the bottom that work well on bare floor, but not so well on thick carpeting. There is a built-in handle on the back. The front air outlet is adjustable. The side has a slide-out filter. The back has a removable, washable filter covering the AC coils on the top, an outlet for hooking up the exhaust hose, and a drain (if needed) with plug. I like that the heavy-duty 5' cord has a circuit breaker and it has overload protection. There is a timer, sleep mode, 2-speed fan, and remote control (batteries included). Assembly is easy and instructions are included. Everything needed for window installation is included. I like the small size (11.8"x13"x26.4") and that it is energy efficient (9.45), and it only uses 850W. This product was packaged very carefully in a with foam sheeting and Styrofoam in box that has a lift-off top for easy unpacking.

Great portable unit
This is a nicely built portable air conditioner unit from vissani that is efficient, well designed, and can work for Most window situations(Side sliding and up/down sliding). It comes with a remote, window attachments, accordion-expanding exhaust hose, and window seal strips with pre-backed adhesive. It is mounted on roller wheels for easy movement and transport. Everything for the window attachments snapped together perfectly easily, indicating good manufacturing techniques. Window fit was perfect. Rated at 6000btu, it can cool a small room pretty comfortably. A 10x10 or even well insulated 15x15 room should be able to be handled fairly easily. I used the most extreme and unadvisable scenario: a 15x35 ft Texas garage in the middle of a Texas summer. The garage is slightly insulated so it won’t lose cool Too rapidly. Basically when the garage was 92° I kicked this thing off at maximum AC, left it running for an hour. When I came back, the garage was 88°. 4 degrees of difference forA big garage in just one hour was pretty incredible! Pretty confident that leaving the AC running for a couple hours would cool down the garage enough to make it comfortable enough to work in. And pretty efficient cooling cycle too. 800 watts max power draw is really good. Highly recommend this portable AC unit if you need to cool down a space fast, and very efficiently. The remote control was a nice bonus, and you could use all the functions with it.

Super quite, cold air, easy operation it just needs the right room
The Vissani model VPA06 is a 6,000 BTU free-standing AC unit that exhausts out the window. The unit comes fully assembled and only needs to be unpackaged to be ready for use. The exhaust hose and connectors assembly to the window is straightforward and only takes 5 minutes to put together. The user’s manual and assembly directions are easy to follow and explicit enough to get you through it all. I got the Vissani portable AC unit to replace my 8,000 BTU window unit as I am getting older and it's harder to carry the window units around from storage. The Vissani is on wheels and can go from use to storage in a closet quickly without getting condensation water all over the floor. The unit is approx. 35 inches high, 14 inches wide, and 15 inches deep and weighs in at 59 lbs. Cooling amperage is 7.8 and the CEER (combined energy efficiency ratio) is 6.5 (higher is better) and this is low, so it consumes a bit of power to cool. In comparison, my 8,000 BTU window unit has a CEER of 11. The AC evaporates its condensation through the exhaust. If the air is very humid and the unit cannot keep up it will shut off and display “E5” on the control face. You will need to drain the unit from a plug located at the very bottom in the back. The control panel is typical of AC units and straightforward, cool, dry, fan, temp up, temperature down, fan speed, etc. The display will show the set temperature for a few seconds and then it will show the room temperature until a function button is touched and the set temperature will show again. The unit comes with a remote that is less user-friendly but works well for power on and off. The toggling through the modes to change temp. or fan speed has a learning curve. There is a button for “swing” mode to adjust the air deflectors, but this model does not have that function. There are two washable filters that are easily removed. I was extremely impressed with the cool temperature of the air the unit produced and its quietness of operation. We were able to leave the TV at its normal level while the AC unit was on, something we could never do with our old window unit, incredibly quiet operation. I set the unit at 72 deg., and it handled a 12 x 14 (168 sq. ft) room easily on a mid 80's deg. sunny day getting direct sunlight. Unfortunately, on a 94-deg. day it struggled to get below 76 deg. until after the sun went down. OEM states this unit is rated for up to a 250 sq. ft. room but in my unscientific use, it would not cool the room when it was in the mid-90 deg. heat and direct sunlight temperatures. The air coming out was cold, there was just not enough of it. If you were close to the unit, it felt wonderfully comfortable but as you moved away you could feel the heat in the room increase. Things I like, is easy to move around, super quiet operation, and good cooling at moderate to low-high temperatures. Things I did not like, the exhaust hose connector did not reliably snap into the window panel and if you moved the unit at all it would pop out of the panel. Also, if you have a lip on the inside of your window you will need to raise the panel up to be able to get the hose to snap into the window panel. I used a 3/8” board I ripped on the saw. I found the quality of the unit good with no issues, it worked well and functioned flawlessly. The product is made in China, recommended for smaller rooms that do not get direct sunlight.

Compact, Portable and Powerful
This unit is great for keeping a small area cool. The wheels roll smoothly so it can be easily moved between rooms any time of day. The three modes offer a good deal of flexibility with capable cooling, a dehumidifier and fan only. The window kit parts all snap together and a few clips and screws are provided to fix the vent panel assembly. The vent pipe has a great deal of flexibility. The drain free design negates the need for unsightly pipes but there is a drain function that can be used if needed. Both the information panel and remote control display current status including target temperature and actual temperature.

perfect for a smaller room, relatively quiet, economical, easy to install
Just the right size for a smaller room.  I put it in my office which is 150 square feet (well within the recommended room size for this AC unit).  The built-in thermostat easily kept the room at my setting of 75 degrees.  It didn't run continuously and cycled at a normal rate given a hot Florida day (92 degs) and high humidity.  This AC unit is quiet compared to others in this category, but they all have some noise (due to the compressor, fan etc all built into the unit).  I have a few of these (different brands and bigger 10,000+ btu, for much larger rooms).  They're great to target a little extra cool air when needed and not have to cool the entire house.  Also, living in Florida one always has to be prepared for severe storms which can cause a lengthy power outage.  This unit uses 850 watts (add an additional 50% for start up), total well within my 2,500 watt iGenerator capability.  I have this one in my office with a heavy gauge (20 amp) extension capable so I can power my entire office, including this AC unit from my generator.  The wifi normally stays up because the provider uses diesel backup generators, so as long as I can power where the ISP comes into my house I have wifi, computer, phone charging, etc... This AC unit is much smaller than the others, so it tucks nicely under a table.  The remote functions as expected and controls all the functionality available directly at the unit itself.  Overall, this AC unit meets my requirement for my small office area and allows me to have at least one room with air conditioning in the event of power outage.

great portable ac
The Vissani 6000btu A.C. is a very nice compact portable A.C. unit. The unit is very well thought out and constructed. The unit features very nice easy to moves wheels built into that even work on most carpets (just not heavy deep pile ones). The unit comes fully assembled, the only thing you have to do is hook up the exhaust and configure it it to the type of window you going to be exhausting out of. The institutions for this step are very goid and they give you plenty of parts to work with. The unit also features a removable and washable filter which is great.
