1-Light Vintage Bronze Outdoor Wall Mount Sconce

Very Bright. Aluminum Construction. Large Glass lens. Nice Classic/Vintage style. Easy to install. They come with a circular mounting bracket which makes it easy to mount them perfectly vertical. Rated at 100 watts these put out a lot of light, which is why we got them. Many others are only rated at 60 watts or less. Shown here with 100-watt equivalent fluorescents. If you don’t want that much light, you can always get lower rated bulbs. The instructions say to use RTV (Silicone seal) to keep out water. The instructions advise to apply to the top and sides; and to leave the bottom open to allow the moisture to escape. Instead we decided to use 3/8 thick foam tape weather stripping. We did not wish to glue the fixture to the side of our house with silicone seal. If you live in Florida or someplace that is wet; best to follow instructions and use the silicone seal. We live in San Diego, where it seldom rains, so we decided to use the foam tape weather stripping instead. You likely will have to cut some of the bolts to size, to get the small round nuts (caps) to tighten up. They only allow for ¼ inch of tightening, so, you will need to cut them off with ¼ inch of the bolt protruding. We used a Dremel tool for this, but you can use whatever cutting tool you have such as a hacksaw or grinder. We used a Dremel since it leaves a nice clean cut that you can easily screw the nut on to. For example, cutting them off with a pliers will destroy the threads. Overall a very nice product.

Beautiful, well made lights that were easy to install thanks to the circular universal mounting plate. I installed 7-lights and used Candelabra style Dawn to Dusk LED light bulbs and the curb appeal of our home increased dramatically.

I just received the product yesterday and installed today. The product is light-weight and looks very nice but in my opinion the glass does not fit as it should. Once installed the glass has a lot of side to side and up and down movement. So much that it rattles when the man door or front door is opened or closed. As mentioned in a previous review, I too had to use shorter screws, 5/8 in. length.
