Bring a little power to your life with the WEN 1250-Watt Inverter Generator. Providing clean energy free of voltage spikes and drops, you’ll be able to power your sensitive electronics. Create up to 1250 surge watts and 1000 running watts of power. The lightweight design makes for easy portability while the 0.7 Gal. tank provides over 5 hours of half-load run time. Our 60cc engine operates at an extremely quiet 51 decibels (at quarter load from 22 ft. away), quieter than a window air conditioner or the average conversation. This limits its invasiveness while hunting, camping, tailgating and restoring back-up power. Designed to mirror a pure sine wave, this generator limits total harmonic distortion to under 0.3% at no load and under 1.2% at full load, making it safe enough to run laptops, cellphones and other vulnerable electronics. Our panel comes equipped with two three-prong 120-Volt receptacles and two 5-Volt USB ports. Maximize fuel economy by engaging the generator's Eco-Mode Throttle. This allows the generator's motor to automatically adjust its fuel consumption as items are plugged and unplugged, preventing the usage of unnecessary gasoline. Need more energy, link up any 2 WEN inverters using a WEN 56421 Parallel Connection Kit (sold separately) to increase output. Can you run this in parallel with one just like it?

usually starts on first pull 7/10 times. gives me around 9 hours a gallon for a 150 watt load on eco mode... it's not silent quite, but, 20-22 feet away you can't hear it anymore. I currently live around 20+ tents spaced around 30 feet apart and no one, knows or can hear it running. when the day kicks in and you have noise pollution, i.e cars and such, you have to be about 8 feet to start hearing it. all this in eco mode of course. for the price, good generator. good looking too.

Bought it because of brand name, assumed would be good. When first ran it, would not hold steady RPM. did not matter if no load or if in Eco mode. Contacted WEN, they asked me to take apart carburetor and look at port. it was clear. Then then sent me an entire new carburetor assembly which I installed. Unit seemed to work. Ran it for 15 minutes every few months with minimal load, just to exercise the unit. two years later, power goes out so I need to use it for real. Same issue. will not hold steady RPM, not even close. engine surges every 2 seconds. and its loud, nowhere near a Honda which our marching band uses all the time. I contacted WEN again that same problem of surging existed. They send I need to ship it to them to repair??? That would cost me $100. The thing has only really been used once and never worked properly but they want me to pay to have it fixed. BTW - I am an engineer and I design major appliances so I am not clueless on how things work or how to fix things. This thing has a design flaw, Hysteresis problem with speed/load control. DO NOT BUY!!! Get a Honda, you won't regret it.

Great little guy. Weighs 34.8lbs with fuel and oil. The reviews are correct and the description is wrong on the gas mixture. This is a 4 stroke. It measured (for me) at about 67db in eco mode right next to it (a little bit louder than my pellet stove). Some OEM's claim a sound level but don't always mention the distance it was measured. It is nice and quiet..... Maybe not in your campground all night, but for sure everywhere else. I too like the expensive red ones, but this one is 1/3 the price and stacks up exactly in specs. Starts right up cold or warm and have had no issues yet. Great buy and I am not disappointed.
