DIY Heating Element
I replaced it after watching a how-to video on YT. It works great now. I had to take a picture of the wires so I could put it back together. Helps to take pictures of the screws too, some are smaller.

This part repaired my dryer’s heating element for one load of laundry. Then it quit working again. I found that the coil had touched the center plate it’s mounted to slightly, and shorted out the new element.

The wires from the new element are too short, I...
The wires from the new element are too short, I had unwind some coils to make it stretch to connect to plug in. Also the element was slimmer so also had to squeeze the compartment together while I screwed it back together. Cut my fingers up having to do thus. In the end my dryer was working/heating again but I had to do some extra work to make this fit. Went through a lot of bandaids.
