Questions & Answers

The snow here is hard and icy, but not very deep. How well does this handle hard snow?

Asked by Snohio February 19, 2021

Mediocre. Once it gets some snow broken loose it seems to do a good job. If you tend to deal with mainly ice with some snow in it than you might opt for a blower with a metal paddle for durability.

How much does it weigh

Asked by Sue March 7, 2019

32 pounds

Is assembly necessary with home deleivery

Asked by Elvy February 13, 2019

I got this 3 yrs ago after we had so much snow, this is my second winter and we have had no snow to blow, so my machine is still in the box waiting for the snow but I understand that when I do take it out of the box there is very little assembly needed, if I can do it any one can. I like the fact it is light weight, electric and has a handle to carry it. I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

Is it safe to use on a gravel surface?

Compact but strong.
I bought this to use in my back yard to clean the patio and make some trails for my small dogs. It is small but quite powerful. Light weight and easy to hang on the wall in my back porch. Yesterday morning I used it to clear a foot of snow. So far I am very impressed with this machine.

Excellent value - Works well
The snow blower was easily assembled and was simple to operate on the very first job. It is very maneuverable and well designed. The price was outstanding and I research prices extensively. I had a Wen circular saw for many decades so I was familiar with the brand. Being electric is perfect for my size of a job. I highly recommend this if it fits your size of a project.

perfect for all types of snow
I received this yellow snow thrower just in time for the arctic blast. Living in Mid-Michigan, we receive a large snow level that usually begins in November and lasts through March or April. The set up was 20 minutes for this product, and a nice online video is available for assistance if needed. The printed instructions are clear and only require assembly of the handle bar. The chute deflector has a crank and will rotate 180 degrees. This is a very nice feature, as our last model required reaching down to the chute to move the deflector. There is a lifetime lubrication feature which is also a nice added bonus. The product is 40 pounds and will clear 10 inches of snow up to a width of 18 inches. It comes with a 13 amp motor. We tried out the product with slushy snow, our first snow of the season. It cleared the small amount without any problem from our driveway. The chute threw the snow far enough to reach our lawn. We are very pleased with this product, and will be trying out with deeper snow in the coming days.
