Fall Vs Trip I have read other comments that this system is good for one "fall". Does this include all losses of balances? Is there a difference between free falling off the roof vs. losing my footing and falling on the roof? I want to know if while working I slip or lose balance and the system catches me and at most I land on the roof, if I can continue to use the system or if I will have to replace it.

Thank you SAS, this is exactly the kind of answer I was looking for, I tried to word so as to be clear on what exactly I needed. I am just going up to my roof to look around, see if there are any maintenance needs and I just wanted to see if this was worth the money. I was concerned that if lose my balance but catch myself and manage not to fall off the roof, if I would still have to replace this and be out $100.

The top of my roof has a ridgecap (so air can get in the attic). Can the anchor be used on any rafter, or can it only be used on the top of the roof?
Asked by: Richard
No, the anchor cannot be used on the ridgecap.

I have an antenna tower that is mounted with a concrete pour and attached to the side of the roof. Can I use this as an anchor? Most of the work I do on the roof would be servicing a weather station attached to this tower right above the roof line.

If you fall how do you get down

Asked by: Charlie
Hopefully whoever is spotting you from the ground or roof can move a ladder or man lift to you. Remember to inspect equipment for damage after the fall as it may need to be replaced.
