A: Hi there, the Wyze Cam v3 uses a USB wire to power the device and it does not use batteries, thus it needs to be plugged all times. For its network connection, the camera uses a wireless network to send data from the camera to your smartphone. A: Hi there, you can still view the camera's livestream if you have an SD card or not. Using a microSD card with your camera though, gives you the ability to record continuous footage and recorded events directly to your local microSD card. A: Hello there, Wyze Cam v3 is meant to work with an internet connection, which allows you to view the Live Stream, get notifications, and change your camera settings in the Wyze app. But it can still be used without WiFi but only after setting it up first. A: The Cam Plus license will be applied to your Wyze account automatically, and it will be activated once the cameras are installed in the App. Secure that the App and the Cameras are updated to the latest version. If still unable to redeem the license we recommend reaching out to our Wizards team (https://support.wyze.com/) so we may help out. You may tap on the Message icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the support site > fill out the questionnaire > choose the way in which you would like to speak with our team.
