The dowels were exactly as described and were perfect for my purpose. I used 4 dowels and chicken wire to make a fence to keep my cats from going out onto my terrace. I couldn't find anything the exact size that I needed, so I made my own and it's working perfectly :)

No weird knots keeping these dowels from being straight and ready to use.
Not much to say beyond that, right? I used them to make separation "cubbies" in my wife's new shelving unit.
I was surprised to see the inked ends on these rods since they wouldn't be mixed in a store display for identification - the right project and that might be unwanted.
"Large" UPC stickers on each one... definitely LABELED wood dowel rods.
That's it.

The dowel was nicely finished but slightly bowed. I used it to replace the axle of a Scott's EasyGreen Seed spreader. Since I only needed about 1 foot length, it worked just fine. Price was reasonable and Home Depot in-store pickup was great.

Ordered the dowels and they came in nice and straight and clean. Great product. Thanks. I used them to make "Bundle Rods" drum sticks. I made 4 pairs for the less then the cost of 1 retail pair.

Just what I needed
These dowels work great for my 3 foot Centerpieces because they go all the way from the top to the bottom to keep the Cemterpiecefrom bending. The only downside Is that I purchased 20 and about 4 of them were straight and all the others were bent and one was broken but I found a fix which was to Hot glue the bend straight down onto the card stock and it won't bow too bad or won't be noticeable.

Glad Home Depot carries this product. Hard to find a...
Glad Home Depot carries this product. Hard to find a 1/8" dowel locally. They shipped it in a generous box and it arrived straight.
Used it to fix cabinet screw holes that were enlarged leading to loose doors. Glued them in, cut it flush and screwed the same hardware back in. No problems so far. Hope it holds.

Ordered two. One was correct diameter the other 1/32" under....
Ordered two. One was correct diameter the other 1/32" under. For scoop handles, so one was a loose fit in handle socket.

Shipped 3/8", not 1/2", but great quality
I didn't receive the 1/2" I ordered, I was shipped 3/8". Since the price difference isn't worth my time to return, I've adjusted my plans instead. Luckily I can make it work. I can say the 3/8" dowels are great quality with very little bow. I would purchase them again.
