The Waddell Star Gingerbread Bracket ads a unique design to your typical bracket. Gingerbread brackets are excellent for creating a custom exterior look by adding under spandrels in covered porches, roof overhangs and cased openings. Either bracket side can be mounted to the wall to meet aesthetic requirements. It is constructed of solid hardwood that is glued and nailed together for long lasting durability and is sanded smooth and ready for your favorite finish.

Answer This Question

A:  More importantly, make sure that you're installing the brackets into the studs in the walls. There are no pre-drilled holes in the bracket. I would trust a shelf that size, properly installed, with a fair amount of weight. Try it with something unbreakable first, though.
