Effective, efficient.
I used this gun for the opposite of its usual intended purpose. I was painting an outdoor Christmas decoration project & in between the 2 coats of Kilz & 2 coats of paint it was looking like it might be done be Easter. This heat really expedited the process. The power cord detaches from the bottom of the heat down so you can hang the gun to cool w/o potentially melting/burning the cord. Good value for the $.

Wow! It works!
Purchased this heat gun to remove paint from an old door frame in which I was replacing a pocket door. As I was removing the trim, the paint in the frame started cracking everywhere. Instead of using paint remover and then sanding, I decided to purchased this product. Had nothing to lose as I would have returned this product if it didn’t work. I tried it on the door itself and the paint came out like melted butter! Thank you Wagner!

This was a great alternative to a heat torch for my epoxy countertop project. It easily removed the tiny bubbles in the epoxy.
I noticed a little burning smell when I first started using it. But this quickly dissipated. I didn't have any problems after the initial start-up.
I purchased this white sink; painted it red; covered with epoxy; and the gun removed all small bubbles. The engineered marble countertop was painted white; covered with diamond dust infused epoxy; again, the gun removed all small bubbles.

perfect for bending 1/2” Schedule 40 PVC
I didn’t see it explicitly listed in the decription, but I found the LOW setting to be perfect for putting an offset in 1/2” Sch40 PVC. It took about 90 seconds for the PVC to become flexible then I squirted it with cold water. Plus it’s nice you can set the heat gun on the floor facing up with the built in stand.

I purchased this heat gun to remove labels from products for my business and to use on a Halloween pumpkin project. I first tried it out on my project to heat up the foam of the pumpkin and melt it making the skin appear "rotten". It did the job easily. The gun has two heat settings and is sturdy and comfortable to hold. It heated up quickly and made short work of the "skin". A little black spray paint and voila, a rotten pumpkin! I haven't used it for labels yet but I am sure it will work for that too. I'm happy with my purchase.

Purchased this to peel the top layer of laminate off of some scrap counter top from a previous project to make matching end-caps for a new project. Worked like a charm.

purchased for a simple heat shrink jobs and various hobbies, nothing commercial, all at home stuff. Heat gun did not even last a day. Will not purchase a wagner product again.
