The liners make it very hard to work with so I returned mine.

When using cup liners it's important to get it laid out evenly and smoothly around the cup threads in order to get a good seal. Without a good seal, the sprayer will not spray. Without using the liner, you'll have to clean the cup. It's not difficult. Good luck with your projects.

These cup liners are A MUST!
These inexpensive plastic cup liners make clean-up so much easier, both for latex and oil-based paints and stains. Plus, paint is so expensive now (I remember when $15/gallon was the pricey paint), That these liners make it easy to return almost all of any unused paint still in the sprayer cup bck to the paint can. You can squeeze the bag, sort of like squeezing a toothpasre tube, until you've gotten almost every drop out of it. I would not use the sprayer ever without one of these cup liners in place.
