I was looking for a steel handle and glad I bought one with a lighter weight wood one. Doesn’t beat up my thigh and knee when it hangs off my tool belt. Has good balance and a nice feel to it. I’d invest in a drywall drill if you’re doing a big project and use this hammer for a small job or as an addition to the drill for quick sheet rock hanging until you secure the whole board with screws.
Convex, serrated hammer face is designedConvex, serrated hammer face is designed to set nail in a perfect dimple and won't bruise drywall or break the paper. Forged, heat treated steel head for long life with no peeling or flaking. Lacquered 14 in. hickory handle is moisture resistant and offset by 3-1/2 in. for knuckle clearance.See Full Product Description
