Pokes through easily, cuts fast and clean, and the handle is comfortable and provides good control. So much better than what I had before, which was a combination of utility knife, hammer, and rage. This is definitely one of those tools that does one thing only, but does it so much better than anything else you might try that it's worth the price.

If there was anything I would change about it, I would make the blade thinner. It has a tendency to tear the back paper with the serrations, but I don't think that's avoidable.

Only needed to clean the teeth out of the paper lining a couple of times. It was still cutting even with the bits of paper in the teeth. Tool has a good shape to the handle and its easy to hold on to while working.
