6 in. Hammer-End Joint Knife is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 45.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from rust before using!? Hope person that approved glue for stickers has to peel 1 on jobsite someday, gets so frustrated and quits. Why put this kind of glue on edge of tool to be used in field? Scratched tool using another joint knife trying to get glue off. Terrible design, why not print sku on handle? Could not remove using goof off

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ridiculous! Cheap junk...seriously you can’t even do me a solid & spend 1 extra penny in order to have a sticker that peels off cleanly?! It’s a finishing tool of course we as the consumer want the stickers off and no adhesive left behind collecting lint and dust! Adhesive left behind even when I did get the sticker off. They have stickers all over their tools down on the edge and on both sides, it took me 30 mins with rubbing alcohol and razor blade to just to prep my tools. Don’t support this cheap company.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rust after second use I used this twice. I've been dealing with dry wall and dry wall tools for 25 years. I rinsed it with water immediately after both uses, dried with a rag, and then air dried without the blade touching anything. Went to use it a third time, 24 hours after the last coat, and it had rust spots that were rough to the touch. You can't expect a smooth finish with that, so this tool I purchased five days ago is now worthless. I will take it back to HD to try and get a refund, but I'd love to hear the manufacture chime in here with an explanation.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY!! Again it is a cheap Chinese made product that will rust within minutes of moisture contact. I couldn't believe that after the first day of use the entire knife started rusting very badly. So much for a fake looking stainless steel product. I will never buy this product again and please stop selling cheap Chinese made tools.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not bad this knife is a bit less flexible that my others (Hyde). The product info says carbon steel, yet it has all the appearance of stainless which is not my first choice in mud knives. The surface corrodes quickly if left wet overnight and is a little more difficult to remove than rust. Not sure what is used to coat the knife as the corrosion is black and pits more than usually seen with carbon steel ( not the typical rust color). Doesn't have as good a tight feel to the construction an I don't expect it to last as long as my others, but it was the only steel 4" one I could find in the store on short notice.
