I just use liquid soap that is clear or white. It helps keep the moving parts from jamming and doesn't stain the paper on the drywall. If you lubricate with oils they can get on the drywall causing problems during painting.
Will this work with bullnose corner bead?

Does the bannister store have any corner bead crimper in stock
The manufacturer MUST sell the tool without that mallet, because that particular light rubber hummer never works with that good tool. I did use that Corner Bead Tool with the hardwood tool mallet which I borrowed from hardwood installer, because that's hummer is heavy enough to punch the Sheetrock-sheetrock corner or even Sheetrock-wood corner. With that bundled rubber mallet the CO-2A 1-1/4 in. Corner Bead Tool will NEVER work. People buy that tool because they have no choice to get it even though with that idiot's light mallet. The mallet MUST be heavy enough to punch the material it is intended to work with.
