40" Rustic Industrial Wood Entryway Hall Tree - Rustic Oak

Absolutely love this! Had it delivered to my local HD and picked it up from there. The directions and pictures helped me to put this together by myself (62 yr old female) in less than 1 1/2 hours. Very sturdy and allows 3 IKEA baskets to fit perfectly on bottom shelf. Hope to find a thin cushion to add a little color at some point.

Sturdy, easy to assemble, and looks good

I was looking for a coat/shoe rack for my condo. Didn't find anything at other popular Swedish furniture company, and others. So came looking at Home Depot and found this to fit the bill. The color matched our floors about as close as you could possibly get (without staining it). All the parts and pieces were there properly marked. You definitely need some space to assemble it. Taking it out of the box was a bit challenging with pieces of Styrofoam getting everywhere! A vacuum will be needed after assembled. Speaking of assembly, was able to do it by myself. I'm a 5'9, 165lbs male, who's not strong at all haha. Directions were great, each step properly laid out. Of course I messed up mid-way through and realized I put in one of the rods upside down so needed to dissemble most of it. But once I did, everything went together smoothly and with my mistake it took about a full 3 hours to do everything (taking out of the box included). I like that they give you wall anchors to secure it, but we felt it's so sturdy and heavy no kid is going to bring it down unless they mean to (and my niece and nephews aren't over here a lot). I was prepared to spend the full price of $199, but swooped in when I saw it was on sale for $139. Just watch your floors as it can scratch them (my fault) if not careful. Overall, I'm super happy with it especially at the price I paid for it.

Could be taller and a little wider for the price, but serves the purpose until I can get a built-in mudroom bench. Pretty sturdy. Do not care for the fake wood laminate paper--concerned that if it gets wet it will bubble up, but hasn't so far. My daughter's backpack is pretty heavy, but it doesn't seem as if it is going to tip over so I did not bolt it to the wall. Instructions are pretty easy to follow except some of the screws were mixed up so it looked like I didn't have enough of a particular screw (they are labeled "A," "B," etc.). But I found them enclosed in a different labeled package other than what was indicated on the instructions (e.g., instructions say to use 8 of screws in package "A" but there were only 6 in package "A" so I opened package "B" and found them). If you feel you are missing screws, check all the packages. Bought a basket from Walmart for hats, gloves, etc. and it dressed it up a little bit. Will add more to the top to fill the empty space above it (just used what I had on hand for the picture).

I love the look of this and it’s nicely made. Also easy to put together.

We recently moved to a house with two entrances: a garage and the front door. With lots of small kids to corral, we need all the help we can get keeping jackets and shoes organized. I was so excited to find this industrial hall tree that included both a storage bench and hooks. It's so great that it's all one piece. It fits in well with our modern industrial-farmhouse-glam look. Assembly took about an hour. I love that it comes with anchors to bolt to the wall--a necessity with small children. The hooks are offset! That is my favorite part of this wall tree. It has two sets of double hooks (seven in total), but they are offset, so you can easily hang multiple jackets or bags. I love that attention to detail in design. The bottom of the bench has plenty of space for storage bins and baskets to hold ALL the shoes that seem to multiply in our house. I love that we'll be able to customize the size of baskets we need and we're not constrained to 12x12 fabric storage bins or cubbies. This is a great addition to any home that is looking for a neater drop zone or entry way. The look is high end and has an adult feel, so it's suitable for bachelors and families alike. A great purchase!

This is a great addition to any entry way or garage for hanging your clothes, hats or umbrellas and for kicking off and storing your shoes on the lower shelf. There is a bench to sit down on while removing garments which easily supports my 200 pounds. This hall tree measures 72 inches high, 40 inches wide and 17 inches in depth and weighs an easy to move 53 pounds. The steel frame is well made and powder coated a gray tone paint. There are seven (7) hooks on the top of the backboards for hanging coats and keeping things arranged and neat. The design compliments any decor with it's modern industrial look. The White Oak color shelves are made of a sturdy MDF material. This is a very sturdy and stable hall tree, and if so desired, it does come with the correct parts to bolt the back top of the tree to the wall for added security and safety, which I did. Parts for wall mounting are provided. It comes with easy to follow assembly instructions and goes together quickly. There are a lot of parts to assemble with several bags of bolts and screws. But everything is well marked and the instructions well laid out. I mounted my hall tree just to the right of the door from our garage to inside our home where it will be continually used as it's the primary way we enter this residence, through the garage. It looks great in there. Hall trees have been around for over a 100+ years and this new modern design and quality construction brings them into the 21st Century as a nice addition to any home. I would highly recommend this item to anyone looking for a great place to store your outdoor wear in a fashionable manner.
