Water Leak Detection Alarm System Combo

Product Overview

When it comes to preventing water leaks and unhealthy mold, Wally has you covered. Wally is a revolutionary water leak detection system that uses a patented sensor network and Hub to detect and alert you of water leaks as well as important changes in humidity and temperature. Wally got its name because it uses the existing wiring within the walls of your home as an antenna. Since the signal range permeates your entire home, not only is the signal strength never compromised, but also data transmission is no longer the dominant power consumer. Most sensor devices constantly send data via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, resulting in short battery life. With Wally's unique patented technology, sensors are guaranteed to last 10+ years 5 times longer than typical in-home sensors.

Great Product
Really easy to install. The package comes with 6 sensors and I bought 3 extra ones to cover the entire house. I am having issue with just one sensor located in my laundry room. For some reason I can't find a good spot to get a signal. At this point I am thinking that I got a defective sensor. Other than that, I am really pleased with my purchase.

Feel much better knowing the "health" of my house
Fire and water are the most likely loss of a home and all the valuables within them. I feel much better having these sensors around my house to monitor and protect my valuables. The system is extremely easy to set up; plug into my router, plug directly into the wall, download the app and it will automatically detect the hub, press the button on the sensor and place where you want. I was up and running all 6 sensors within 20 minutes or less. Absolutely the easiest device I have set up. The data that it provides is fantastic. I have had this up an running for 2 weeks now and I purchaed 6 more sensors to add to my collection. I have been watching this product for the last 4 months with reviews and some people have had trouble with electrical interference or not being able to connect to the hub. I do have to say that I did not have the hub attached directly to the wall outlet and though I did get a decient signal it was not all that strong. I rearranged my cords and directly plugged it into the wall and the signal went for 1-2 bars signal to full signal. I would and I am recommending this prouct to all my friends and family. This, the wifi smoke dectors and maybe a wifi camera are the only smart home Items that are actually practical.

Looks like a great system, but won't work if you have high electrical inteference
The system looks very impressive when it arrives. The installation was quick and easy. However, the sensors had trouble communicating with the hub when they were more than 2 feet away. Tech support was quick to respond via email even on a holiday weekend but didn't offer much more advice than was on the website. The message the system was giving was that the hub was located in an area of high electrical interference. After 3 days of trial and error, I finally determined that the electrical interference was caused by my security camera system. Once the cameras were turned off, they system worked much better, although, the range was only about 25' from the hub and if there was a wall that crossed the line of sight, it was done. Since the sensors rely on your home's wiring for the signal to travel back to the hub, you need an electrical outlet or the like very close to where the sensor will be located. Since my heating/hot water system is in the basement and there is no outlet within 10' and I assume some electrical noise coming from the power on the heating circulators, the system would not communicate. Nice system if you have no interference, I suppose.
