Product Details

For connecting your submersible well pump, look to this brass pitless adapter. The 2-piece design allows a tight seal and can be permanently mounted to the well casing. Solid brass construction makes it built to last.
  • Used to connect submersible well pump discharge pipe to the horizontal pipe entering the house while allowing the pump to be serviced without having to dig up the ground between the well head and the house
  • Pitless adapter and horizontal run of pipe need to stay below frost line
  • 1-1/4 in. FNPT x 1-1/4 in. FNPT
  • 2-piece design allows for the adapter to be permanently mounted to the well casing while still being able to remove the pump for service
  • Solid brass design meets federal low lead regulations

Q:Why wouldn't this work on a pvc well casing with an i.d. of 4"? The pump outlet is 1-1/4" and I didn't want to reduce output size.

              This product has great features
              The website was very easy to use with excellant description of the various products. The pitless was shipped quickly, it was carefully packaged and in great shape when I received it.It comes apart with the right amount of pressure and slips back into place easily. The overall shape is very easy to work with. The top of the well casing piece has a hole into which a coat hanger fits perfectly, allowing for instant placement 4 feet down where the water pipe connects underground.

                They advertise or will fit in a 5 inch casing and if mine wasn’t pvc and I didn’t push hard to get it in it would not fit. Do not use in steel casing. The box says 6 to 12 inch
