Yes, the shower head arm is flexible and can be raised or lowered to the height desired.
It's not necessary but if blocked squeeze or wiggle the rubber nozzle.
if you push the "snaky" flex tube "back" a little, so the U is tighter, it will hold its position better. Another help - get two huge rubber bands they use at the Post Office. Run them like a bow string from the water line coupling to the neck of the spray head above its push-buttons to support its weight . Especially handy if you have different people adjusting it. Two answers: My water pressure is only 30, but be sure you have no "water conserving" restriction device in the water line . This has a BIG 8 inch shower head with lots of little spray heads. That makes the pressure lower when it hits you. If you want more "zing", push the button over to the 2 inch setting and see what happens :0)
Not really designed to extend. It just allows flexibility so you can position the shower head so it's level. There is a very slight extension possible.
