What is the size of the hose connection?
The hose connection is 1/2-14 NPSM female thread.

How does this shower head do for washing and rinsing hair?
Average if you have thick/long hair I would change the dial to a smaller spray as the normal spray is not very strong.

Is this model the one with 2.5 gpm or 2.0 gpm? I ask because a competitor listed theirs as having 2.5 gpm, and when I went to the store it turns out they only carried the one with 2.0 gpm. They had just block copied the description from Waterpik and not corrected it for what their store carries.
2.5 if you take the flow restrictor out. Otherwise around 1.2.

I liked the product but there were 2 leaks from the top. It worked for a while. I dont want to squeeze it because its plastic but it was tight upon installation. Its from the filter and pipe. Disappointed I bought it for others.

This Shower head is sufficient to give you a good shower and was very easy to install. As compared to an older Water Pik model of the same 2.5 gpm rating this head seems to lack the same power.

First let me say I have been a Plumber for over 35 years. You need to know this or my review won't make sense. I bought this shower head because it is advertised having a flow rate of 2.5 gpm. The advertisement does not say that it has a flow restrictor that brings it down to somewhere around 1.2 gpm. So the manufacturer blatently lied. I tried the unit the way it came out of the package ( still believing a 2.5 flow rate ) and the water trickled. I then removed the adapter that screws onto the shower arm and removed the washer and filter to find the flow restrictor hidden below. The instructions call both parts a filter. LIARS. I popped out the red flow restrictor and glory be the shower head is now putting out a robust stream of water. I gave an overall rating of 4 stars only because after removing the restrictor it lived up to my expectations. Otherwise I would rate it at 1 star.

I purchased this same massaging, hand-held shower in 2010. I loved it so much that I wanted the same hand-held shower when my old one bit the dust in 2019. It has excellent water pressure and feels fabulous.
