Way Basics has come up with a modern way to organize a not so modern item. The 2-Shelf Cube is made to fit vinyl records. With tons of space, you can now organize your record collection and do so in a fashionable, simply and modern way. This 2-Shelf Cube in natural is made out of zBoard, a sustainable and strong patented material that is eco-friendly and safe for your home. Way Basics uses a 3M industrial adhesive instead of hardware. which means no tools are required. No handy man needed, assembly is easy. As all Way Basics products are, this is made from zBoard, our sustainable recycled paperboard. Its also non-toxic and free of VOC and formaldehyde.

Worst product I ever bought. Held together by glue strips....
Worst product I ever bought. Held together by glue strips. Went together easy. I picked it up after 12 hours and it fell apart in my arms. Delivered to wrong address to start with. Moved second one and it fell apart also. Made out of compressed particle fiber not even wood! It’s like paper glued!

These record shelves were the perfect solution to our storage needs. We have a large collection of vintage 78 record albums and these shelves accommodated a generous amount while still being compact and space-saving. They were very easy to assemble as well. Of course, they are not real wood, so I don't expect them to last forever, but I do think that they will do the job very well for a long time.

In the pictures it looks really solid and nice. When I got it I was shocked at how light the material was. I realized its basically super strong corrogated cardboard that has a faux simulated wood laminate but as a paper wrap. I was dubious at first and read up on it before I put it together. Assembly is simple and has strong double sided stick tape ad dowels to keep the panels together. However not all connecting panel sides have this tape. So based on the reviews I decided to make the assembly stronger by adding wood glue to the connecting panels where no tape is used. I think in the long run, this added step will allow your cabinet to hold up better and I strongly suggest it. When I was done assembling, I was shocked at how strong the cabinet was being made of cardboard. I built two of these and filled the entire bottom cavity with LP records and the top cavity with 45's and a small amount of LPs. As any record collector knows, LPs in quantity are REALLY heavy. It has been a few weeks so far and I am surprised how well this is holding up. I even placed my turntable on the top of the cabinet. I give this 4 stars cause I was hoping for real wood and I am concerned of long term possible warping. But overall I am surprised at what the marvels of cardboard engineering can do.
