The Weaber Weathered Wall Boards offer a designer look that brings the beautiful impression of reclaimed barn wood indoors. They present a rustic, natural appearance to accent any room in your home. Made from Solid Hardwoods, these wall boards deliver a rich variety of color with a naturally distressed look and they also are easy to install. Our 1/2 in. x 4 in. x 4 ft. Weathered Poplar Wall Boards (8 Pieces per Box) provide the look of salvaged barn wood boards that have been exposed to the elements for decades, when in fact they are new, solid Hardwood boards. The process for coloring our product is all natural and eco-friendly, free of hazardous chemicals or solvents. They are kiln dried for added stability. These boards can be used in several applications both residential and commercial. Residential applications for Wall Boards range from use as wall paneling on feature and accent walls, wainscot paneling, and furniture making. They can also be used in smaller home decor projects such as bed headboards, shelving, and other smaller design elements like wall art and framing. Commercial applications include indoor signage and display areas, indoor accent walls and feature walls, and other architectural and design elements. Weathered Wall Boards are often used in retail display walls, display cases, counter areas and restaurant or cafe menu panels. Every board meets the highest quality grading standards for strength, durability and appearance.

Q:Why would you need to paint the wall ahead of time if you are just covering it with the boards? Can you see through seems in the boards?

A:  The wood is warped and not uniform in cut. You will have gaps. If you do a dark brown paint and match the wood with a level, the gaps are not noticable.

    A:  These boards have a rustic nature and are not all square. There will be small spaces where you may see through the boards. That is why we suggest you paint the wall a complimentary color before installing.

          A:  The weathered wall boards are not recommended for use in high moisture environments. It may cup or change color. If you insist on using this material in a high moisture environment, we recommend sealing the boards with a clear satin oil-based polyurethane.

            A:  I wouldn’t recommend that. It’s real wood and all I could think of is the wood warping causing mold/mildew and smelling

              Colors are not what they appear
              It amazes me how drastic the color changes are after a few months. One month you get more of a white wash then the next you basically get black. I used the “black” and it turned out ok but as you can tell, not the same color from my original purchase. And no I didn’t order the black color lol.

                Good, but not great. Size makes nailing an issue
                The product is good for what it is, a "replica" of a reclaimed board. The boards are lightweight and most have some imperfections, good and bad. The big part of this is that any board you cut, you will need to stain or paint the end to seal it or risk it deforming over time. The boards are 4' in length.. Why?? normal studs in a house are 16" on center and if you nail them, one end will never be nailed unless you trim each piece and dispose of the other 8" of material. This is my biggest issue!

                  Love it!
                  I used a combination of browns and grays. Love the way it turned out. Do not expect the boards to be perfect, they’re not. We painted the wall black before starting and it hid all the imperfections.

                    Awesome stuff
                    We got the black, and almost sent it back when we received it because it was so dark. The more boxes you open the bigger variation you get, and we put it up anyway as the price was so reasonable. They go up easy and look amazing, can't recommend them enough, if you are considering purchasing pull the trigger you won't regret it.

                      Beautiful & easy to install.
                      I bought this for a generic condo that I am arranging for my disable son and wanted to give the place character. I used 7 boxes for an 8.5x8 wall and have two unopened boxes left. I absolutely love the result and it took my handyman under 4 hours to install it. But before i go further, I like to thank the reviewer who said paint the wall a dark color to hid the little gaps. Thanks to his clever Idea, we were able to create mini gabs to keep the product level on the wall. It looks beautiful.
