S4S boards can increase the value of your home or business estate and are an inexpensive way to add character and flair to any home. S4S boards can be used for cabinetry, furniture, shelving, trim, hobby and other utilitarian work. Our oak board is a solid kiln dried board. All our boards are double end trimmed with a moulded finish providing a high quality appearance. It is very versatile hardwood that accepts paint or stain equally well. Also, our boards are SFI certified.

Yes. It is sold by the foot and they provide cross-cut saws and miter boxes to help you do it.

I used this to edge a set of melamine 8'x24" shelves to give them more rigidity. As the Melamine is quite straight, I needed the 2" direction pretty straight. I had to discard about half the boards I looked at to get acceptable ones. I would say a handful were unusable for any project. There were some with damage (i.e. from a forklift or something with a lot of force). Just make sure to look them over before purchase.
