The Weaber Weathered Wall Boards offer a designer look that brings the beautiful impression of reclaimed barn wood indoors. They present a rustic, natural appearance to accent any room in your home. Made from Solid Hardwoods, these wall boards deliver a rich variety of color with a naturally distressed look and they also are easy to install. Our 1/2 in. x 4 in. x 4 ft. Weathered Poplar Wall Boards (8 Pieces per Box) provide the look of salvaged barn wood boards that have been exposed to the elements for decades, when in fact they are new, solid Hardwood boards. The process for coloring our product is all natural and eco-friendly, free of hazardous chemicals or solvents. They are kiln dried for added stability. These boards can be used in several applications both residential and commercial. Residential applications for Wall Boards range from use as wall paneling on feature and accent walls, wainscot paneling, and furniture making. They can also be used in smaller home decor projects such as bed headboards, shelving, and other smaller design elements like wall art and framing. Commercial applications include indoor signage and display areas, indoor accent walls and feature walls, and other architectural and design elements. Answersif you are trying to hit the stud you should use 2"-2 1/2" nail since the product and sheetrock account for 1" combined. no harm is using a longer nail

AnswersI would say borderline. It is definitely not smooth, but not as ruff as rough cut lumber. If you are grabbing the headboard with your hands, I don't think you need to worry about splinters. Probably best to get help changing the sheets so they don't snag as you are putting them on.
Do the 8 pieces come attached as 1 piece as pictured or individual pieces ?

AnswersNO! You're lucky if the fake "weathered" spray on finish makes it out of the box without 100 little white chips and flakes. It is not aged /weathered or stained. And the acid wash will react with your poly and turn white.

AnswersYou can either use an adhesive like Liquid Nails or a brad nailer. I attached mine with 18 gauge brad nails and I've had no issues.

Uneven boards, nightmare to install

Given the good reviews I thought I would purchase the black boards. It was not what I expected.
The boards are:
1. Not the same length
2. Not the same thickness.
3. Uneven
4. Expensive given the quality of the boards.
Therefore. Installing this was extremely difficult. I did the herringbone design which created large gapping and looked like some boards were coming out. At this stage of the game... it is what it is....
I spent 13 boxes equaling $390 not including tax. The black boards are not carried in stores so whenever I needed more boards I would have to wait. Delivery is amazing and always came a week earlier than expected.
Definitely would not recommend these boards. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. Please save yourself the headache.

This is a nice product for the price. All of the boards weren’t perfect but that just added to the rustic look of the wall. Compared to other reclaimed wood that I’ve purchased for projects, the quality of this brand was good for the price.

This is a love hate review, the product gave us the look we were wanting for a country style theme wall. But in the package's I found several boards that the width was off by more than an inch and since they varied I couldn't even create a run with the undersized boards. Also several were warped pretty bad, I was able to get around that by cutting the really warped boards in shorter pieces. I marked I would recommend because we did end up with the look we were wanting, but there is a caveat. Buy more then you need, be prepared to return the extra and the unusable boards ( I ended up with two full boxes 16 pieces). The manufacturer needs to package differently so you can see the ends of the boards to verify the widths are all the same before purchase.

I’ve been bothering my boyfriend for months to do our living room wall in wood. After a trip to Home Depot I finally talked him into getting these. Our 8x24 wall took 15 boxes. We painted the wall a chocolate brown and started, the whole project took two days and it looks fantastic! We nailed them up with 18 gauge nails and it takes a lot of weight to pull them off. Would highly recommend to someone with minimal carpentry skills and a free weekend.

Do not buy this to attemp a barn wood wall. Each box is entirely different widths and lengths. You’ll burn through 10 boxes just trying to find 4 boards the same width. Its a nightmare to install. Go with another product for that barn wood wall. You’ll thank me later. One star is too high of a rating.
