Great grill in terms of how it cooks. However, my grill is less than 3 years old and has already rusted out And the doors fell off

Considering the price...
I'm giving this product 3 stars due to what I would consider a quality control issue. When fully assembled, there is a gap of roughly 1/4 to 1/2 inch between the cabinet doors. While the lower hinge is adjustable the top is not, such that squaring the doors with each other results in the aforementioned gap. When brought to the attention of Weber (including photos of my grill doors as compared to the doors shown on promotional photos from Weber which have no gap), the response I ultimately received was "We would consider the space between your doors to be within our acceptable tolerance range."
While I recognize that the gap is a minimal issue in the grand scheme of things, I found Weber's response irksome as $600 ($100 off the regular price) is by far the most money I've spent on a gas grill, and for so much money I guess my "acceptable tolerance range" regarding fit and finish is smaller than Weber's. I have to wonder at what price point can one expect to have everything fit snug as represented on product photos.

Weber Genesis E-310
I was looking for a high end grill for my first "real" grill purchase. I know others who have used Weber in the past and always swear by the quality. They weren't wrong. It's sturdy, good construction, high end finishes and looks to be made for longevity. The grilling itself is phenomenal. I can't say enough good things about this product. The directions were easy to follow, it just took some time to actually assemble. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. I can't recommend this grill enough.

High Quality Product, Easy to Assemble
Finally, I have a Weber Genesis of my own! This grill is definitely worth the investment -- As a brand new owner of a Weber Genesis, I made this purchase after careful consideration and research. Many family members have Genesis grills that have stood the test of time. In fact, the one my mom uses is about 15 years old at this point and still going strong, and my two older brothers' grills are about 8-10 years old.
Temperature control and even heat distribution on these are great. So whether you are cooking for just two people or hamburgers for 30 this grill does the job extremely well.
When purchasing my grill, I chose the unassembled version for ease of transport and honestly I like putting things together. The entire assembly took my about 1.5 - 2 hours by myself, but it was very straightforward and easy to understand. There simply were a lot of parts to the assembly. Unlike other assembly jobs I have done in the past for other things, this was a breeze. All of the holes lined up where they should be, and all of the screws/bolts went in very easily. Just a few tools were required to assemble this grill. You can tell a lot about the quality of an item from assembling it from the ground up. All of the screws lining up with the holes is HUGE in ensuring high quality products. I have assembled many items in the past that did not align and were a pain to assemble. All of the parts were wrapped well and protected well in the box.
After finishing the grill, I was able to make our first meal on it and the performance was outstanding. The grill heated to temp in no time, and I was able to cook our entire meal on the grill to perfection utilizing the manufacturers guide for direct and indirect heating.
I highly recommend this product, and if you are debating between this and the Weber Spirit series, opt for this version and you will not be disappointed.

Sturdy, consistent, and dependable
I wanted to buy a dependable, well-built grill that provided consistent flame and heat for my son-in-law, who is the champion griller in our family. After much research, I decided on the Weber Genesis E-310.

Best grill ever!!!!!
It was purchased as a gift from our parents on the occasion of our new home in Surfside, Miami!!!
It has been just received and we have assembled and used it several times in these two weeks period. We have already enjoyed it very much in company of family and friends.
The grill performance is as good as expected, with more than enough space for cooking and confortable service sides. It is robust and heat is evenly distributed and very nice temperature control.
It was easy to assemble and we expect to use it for a very long time!!!

Welcome to the Weber Family!
We finally upgraded to the Weber and it was worth it! For years we always went cheap with our grills and they would last about 2 years before rusting out here in Florida. Well we bit the bullet and bought the Weber this year and so far it was worth every penny.
I assembled the grill myself and it was pretty straight forward. Easy picture instructions and you only need a few tools. I recommend assembling it yourself so you can understand how everything goes together. Plus you know it was put together correctly.
We've used the grill about a half dozen times and everything works great. She heats up real fast, no flare ups, and there's an even heat throughout the cooking surface. Everything is very sturdy and the design was well thought out. So far we can't find any negatives.
Overall we're very pleased and would definitely recommend buying a Weber.

No more "cheap" grills for this kid!
Was delivered right on time. A bit time consuming to put together but that's because it's so darn well built! I had a Charbroil gas grill for the last 3 years and was not too thrilled with the overall results. The first steaks I grilled on this Weber made me realize the quality I had been missing. This grill is a no brainer. A bit expensive but hey, you get what you pay for and now I'm getting the most from whatever I grill! Very satisfied!

Makes Grilling Easy!
My wife's mother let us order the grill we wanted as a housewarming present and we could not be happier with it. Home Depot delivered this promptly and we set it up in about two hours, taking our time. Some of the less visible parts were not finished as nicely as I would expect for a grill of this caliber, but they're the ones that are not visible once it's assembled, and they don't impact performance at all.
Everything worked flawlessly from the first try. The burners fired right up, the casters let you roll it easily and the doors align properly. We looked at other Webers before selecting this one and felt this presented the best overall value.

Best Grill I've owned!
I had a Coleman for over 10 years, but the Weber Genesis E-310 3-burner propane is the best grill I've ever had - even heat, great grates, works great for direct and indirect heat, and you can set the burners so that you can hit and stay at a specific temp.
I also recommend getting the Weber cover - it fits perfectly and keeps the grill in great condition.
