Tips from the Grill Masters
Restyled for 2014, the Weber Q 200 is now the Weber Q 2000. The BBQ grill has the same great performance and sleek styling but adds new aesthetics that are both functional and fun, including larger grip handle and control knobs, ergonomic side handles, sturdy front and rear cradles. Split grates allow for a grate/griddle cooking combination: Just replace one of the grates with the Q 2000-series compatible griddle (sold separately) and experience a unique way to prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner on your grill. The Weber Q 2000 is ideal for use when camping and tailgating but, thanks to a design that offers both compact overall size and large grilling surface, can double as a stationary grill in your outdoor living space.

Great back up grill in emergencies and camping
Customer review from weber.com logo
I bought this used and tore it apart and replaced the guts because it didn't work according to the previous owner. Once I replaced the gas tube it works perfectly. She's small and can grill anything my family of 4 needs with ease. We just had our first power outage in our new house and my wife was worried about the food going bad, chicken and beef in the fridge, so I fired up my Q and my Performer and boom the meat was done. They may be dirty but they are used almost everyday. I think it's time to upgrade to the larger 20 pound tanks so I can cook longer.

Awesome grill
Customer review from weber.com logo
This is our third Q grill we have purchased over the past 10 years. We bought one for home, one for a family summer cottage and this last one to replace the cottage one that was destroyed by a falling tree. We absolutely love the portability, the amount of room and ease of cleanup. I did add thermometers to each one which was an easy to do upgrade that helps control the inside temperature. They even have enough room to cook pizzas.

Great Little Grill
Customer review from weber.com logo
This little grill is well made. It retains the heat well and uses less fuel. It’s big enough for a quick lunch or whole meal. The first picture is after 13 years of use. Gotta love it!

I have had this Weber Q grill for Over 15 years. It has been out year round in the harsh Wisconsin elements. Lights every time. It is very well seasoned and cooks food evenly. I love this little grill can’t recommend it highly enough.

Bought it as a housewarming gift for my daughter's new apartment. I thought that it would be a nice fit on her balcony, and it is. She loves it! She even assembled the cart herself. I've seen photos of several successful grilled meals since she received it.

It's a trap!

You look a the quality top, the quality bottom, the great cast-iron grill, the high price-tag and you think this thing will be awesome. You'll use it for years, always being happy with what a great grill this is. Eventually you'll come to terms with the fact it's not great. In fact, it's horrible. You aren't actually in love with the grill, you are in love with the IDEA of the grill. The valve/regulator is of very poor quality. I had to replace mine 4 times. The burner/valve never puts out enough heat. The way you have to cook is let it get hot, which it's never hot enough, and then let the hot cast-iron cook your food. When you flip your food, you have to flip it to a new pre-heated hot spot. This results in burnt on the outside, raw on the inside food. The burner/valve don't actually put out enough heat to cook your food, that's why you have to rely on the cast iron. If you completely cover the surface with chicken wings, they won't cook, because the burner can't keep up. The one side that you dropped on the hot cast-iron will be nice, but the other side is just rubbery. You'll start to think that maybe since it doesn't actually get hot enough, maybe you can slow cook on it. Nope. It only has 1 setting, medium. Once the cast-iron starts to rust, you'll try everything to re-season it. You'll buy brushes, attachments for your drill, research it on the internet, put it in the self-cleaning cycle in the oven, soak it in vinegar. You'll waste 30 hours of your life on this cast-iron junk. If you try to protect you lovely grill with the cover, you'll marvel at how well the water sheds right off it. Then you'll remove the cover, and see it's actually been trapping moisture on/in the grill, causing it to mold. It's not a cover, it's a trap for moisture. Everything about this grill APPEARS to be awesome, but it's not. Eventually you'll start to recognize how you have been deceived, how you have been lying to yourself this whole time, and you'll toss it in the dumpster after years of ruined food, depressing camping trips, and tears of sadness. As you walk away from the dumpster, a smile will cross your face. It feels like a giant weight has been lifted off your shoulders. As you return into your home, you'll hear it crying out to you. "How can you abandon me! I'm your precious! You just threw away a $200 BBQ! Come dig me back out." Stay strong my friends. You can do it. Resist the urge.

Q2000 grill
Customer review from weber.com logo
A perfect grill for our small-ish deck. Works every time! I love this grill. Great quality except for sort of flimsy side "tables" - wish they were a bit sturdier. Instead we have the grill on a long glass table & us that to set plates, etc.

Love this Q 2000
Customer review from weber.com logo
I bought this portable barbecue for camping as our son and a couple of friends have one as well. I can’t believe how well it works with no flare ups especially when cooking steak with fat around the outside or even hamburger. The heat is evenly distributed. We used to own another well made not cheap brand and the flare ups and heat were not evenly distributed at all. This Weber reaches temperature quickly and very, very happy we listened to son and friends!
