Very good grill - but not perfect
Easy to assemble, the grill is of very good quality. The searing plate insert really works, and I also ordered the wok and that works too. Not too keen on the front cover (I'd rather have doors) but it's a very minor annoyance. I made some pretty successful racks of ribs on the grill (see the pic).

Wonderful grill!
Bought this three burner gas grill preassembled. Works great - grilling veggies on the cast iron grilling pan or steaks on the grates, nothing better! Durable, even cooking - can't say enough good about this Weber grill. Gonna be a great summer!

Great Grill, Terrible Front Panel
I bought this for the modular plates and the reasonable price. In this sense, it's fantastic. However, I didn't pay attention to the front panel. I have no idea why it's not a hinged door! Instead, it's this flimsy panel that clings onto 4 posts. It's not easy to put on and off, for sure! I'm thinking about hacking it and putting in a door on my own. It shipped for free, but arrived disassembled as expected. It took about three hours from start to finish (and that's with one mistake). Considering that I've never done this before, I'd call the process easy! The only thing I recommend is to do the leak check prior to mounting the front panel for the first time. If you follow the directions sequentially, they have you mount it, complete the build fully, then take it off again for the leak check. I GOL'ed (grumbled out loud).

Great product! Free assembly was included, but poorly executed.
Love the grill. Free assembly was not worth it! Wheel fell off after rolling the grill just a few feet at home. Found only 2 of 4 screws used and not tightened on 2 wheels. I decided to go through the entire assembly procedure to ensure everything else was tight and complete. I then found 2 screws on the control panel support and 1 cable fastener missing.

Wonderful Weber "Wham" grilling sensation!
I ordered online to have this 130# box DELIVERED free to my front door. It took less than 45 min to assemble and cook my first meal on it. I really am impressed with the grilling surface, and how easy it is to clean. I am glad I spent a few $$$ more for a grill that is obviously going to last 10-15 years. The last grill I bought was a $150 cheepie, which I rebuilt 3 times in 8 years. I know this Weber will be maintenance free for at least 15 years. Well built, well designed, well... it's a Weber!!!!

Spirit E-310 Grill - Rusting Out after 14 Months
Purchased this Weber Grill and Cover at Home Depot. Grill has started rusting out in just over a year. It is apparent that Weber Grills are not the same quality they were years ago. They still charge a premium price, but they are now cheaply made. Customer support from Weber is terrible.

    Good BBQ for the price
Purchased this BBQ based off the reviews I read. The main negative I kept reading was the front cover and how hard it is to take off and on to access the propane tank etc... under the grill. After putting together, which took about an hour and a half, I found taking off the front cover and putting it back on is not that difficult. You really don't have to take it off all the way. You lift it up a little and tilt it back so the bottom part is still on the hooks. It's as easy as that. Still wish it had doors but I am okay with it as is. Looking forward to using the griddle for making pancakes, eggs, bacon etc... The grill heats up great but does still flare up when cooking steak or fish with seasoning on it.

    Very nice grill... so far
I have owned several grills over the years and I really like all the features that are packed into this grill. The aluminum box is a really nice feature compared to the competition. I agree with most reviews that complain about the flimsy front panel but if you get creative you can solve the issue by installing magnets on the top to make access much easier (see pictures). Overall I really like this grill and I look forward to years of delicious grilled meals to come.

    First Grill, and Loving It
This Weber Spirit Model Grill is the first grill I have ever owned, and I have really loved it! The assembly was really not all that bad. It came with a detailed set of instructions, and my wife and I were able to put it together within a couple of hours. The grill runs great and cooks very evenly across the whole surface. The front cover could use a bit of a redesign, as I just pull it off and then put it back on every time I need to turn the tank on or off. But that is such a small issue, it really doesn't bother me too much. I would definitely say it's worth getting a Weber.

Well built and easy to assemble
I was very pleased on how well the grill was packaged and easy to assemble. The instructions were easy to follow and straight forward. I like the cast iron grates. They cook great and should last years to come. I also like the new accessories, such as the griddle.

    Extremely Versatile Grill
This grill is really well thought out – hats off to the designers! I love the versatility that the removable center grate gives you. I’ve cooked several meals with a meat and two vegetables using only this grill (the flavor infused in the vegetables on the grill is really excellent!). I was worried at first that having the entire center taken for the griddle would pose a problem for cooking meat at the same time. While it obviously does take up quiet a bit of room, there’s still plenty leftover & this grill cooks so evenly that cooking around the edges is not an issue. You can easily fit 5 or 6 good sized steaks around griddle insert & not worry about some cooking faster than others due to hot spots. As far as assembly went – it took me about an hour and 15 minutes. The instructions are very straightforward and it only requires basic tools. As far as features – this grill is loaded! Obviously my favorite feature is the interchangeable center area. I also really enjoy the electronic ignition – SO much better than the old push-button igniters that inevitably took 3 or 4 pushes to light & died completely by the end of the season. This ignition system fires right up every time & when the time comes, replacing the battery is very simple. I also really appreciate the gauge that tells you how full your propane tank is. The thermometer is also a great feature & so far, seems to be very accurate. As far as using this grill – it’s great! It’s easy to start, and it heats up quickly. The accessories are easy to switch out & the two side arms provide ample work area. This grill is also on wheels with locking casters, so moving it around is simple. The grease tray is also easy to access & replace. My only complaint is about the black front grate that hides the area where the propane tank is housed. It looks sharp, but instead of having hinges, it hooks into the body of the grill in four places. Because of this, you have to completely remove it in order to access the propane tank (or see the gauge) or anything stored underneath the grill. Putting it back on isn’t horribly tricky, but far more of a pain than simply closing a door. This is by no means a reason not to purchase the grill, but it is something I hope they change on the next model. Overall, this is a fantastic grill! It’s well-made, well thought out & provides you tons of options in terms of grilling cuisine. I’m so sold on this grill that I’ve already ordered the poultry roasting accessory to expand my grilling options even further & I can’t wait to try it out - highly recommend this grill!

    Great Family Grill
I SIMPLY LOVE this grill. I had three grill prior to this but never assembled it by myself before. Instruction says assembly need two person but I assembled whole thing with my 4 year old son. It was more than enough. It took me little bit more two hours in my garage. I thought it would be little challenge to me, but it was really easy and simple to build it. This grill is well thought and designed. Wheels have locks in front of the grill base with real smooth moving. enough hooks on the tray. Starter is well placed. even handle of the top is comfy. large grease trap. Grates itself is very nice too. I am not sure whether I put it right but flat side was nice to hold the meat and cook. One unique feature of this grill is there is a circular hole on the grates which can be used with steel pans (included) and other cooking utensils which can be purchased separately. This grill go beyond as grill but it is family cooking machine. Countless possibilities are waiting with this grill. Downside of this grill would be relatively small cooking space. it comes with three burner which is one less than what I currently have. This is perfect size for a family or small number of guests, but little too small for large number of guests. One other small minus is that storage where propane tank goes have cover not the door. I am sure there are many good reason to put cover here rather than door but to me, put the storage cover was little tricky at the begining. I had to point out the downside of this grill but by far this is the best grill that I ever used for our family. Good size and performance itself was great. If you want nice family grill, you will fall in love with this Spirit E-310.

Don't compare to larger weber grills, good smaller grill
I am torn two ways on this grill, because my inlaws have a large full size Weber grill, and I want to compare it to theirs even though this is a completely different product line, almost what I would call their economy line (still a great grill, just not the same as the one my father in law uses). Pros: I was able to put it together by myself in about an hour and a half, the instructions were very clear and easy to read and follow Easy to attach the propane bottle Starts up right on the first try every time Solid metal construction Stylish, good looking grill Includes propane bottle gauge Love the grease catch system, easy to change the tray and clean Many inserts for the middle of the grill, although there really isn't a whole lot of extra room on the sides if you have one of the inserts in Like the location of the knobs, prefer them up front rather than flat on the sides where snow and grime accumulate more Heats up fairly fast, and good even cooking. No hot spots Cons: No instructions on how to hook up the propane bottle to the gauge Propane bottle sits on the ground- this is a HUGE con, as I don't want my bottle sitting on the wet ground, metal to soil, and you can't just unlock the casters and move the grill without picking up the bottle separately Really dislike the new 'door' - this is the only flimsy part of the construction. I get the idea, and it looks good at first, but my dog managed to bend the front piece just running into the grill (why he wasn't looking where he was going who knows). I bent it back, but I just really dislike this door design. Don't see this front piece lasting very long. Go back to the regular design on the door in my opinion. Overall not a bad grill, just don't expect it to provide as much room as a Weber full size grill. You can get bigger grills for the same amount of money, but it won't be a Weber. So if you're looking for a grill that will last a long time and can be depended on to start up, but you don't need to feed an army of hungry ranchers, this could be a perfect grill for you.

I'm extremely disappointed that this product is no longer functioning. After about 6 months, I was not able get the grill to heat up. And the heat / gas controls became warped/stripped and also no longer functioning. I was no longer able to control the temperature or get the grill to heat up past 250 degrees. now I have no way of returning or exchanging it.

Hi! It sounds like your grill may be in a safety mode known as “bypass." What’s happening is that the regulator thinks there’s a gas leak, so it reduces the pressure. The first thing you need to do is check for a gas leak (https://www.weber.com/US/en/blog/the-key-test-to-perform-when-you-hook-up-a-new-lp-gas-tank-to-your-grill).

IF YOU HAVE A GAS LEAK, DO NOT USE THE GRILL. If you have a gas leak please contact our call center at 1-800-446-1071 so we can assist you.

Once you’ve confirmed that there is no leak, follow these instructions (https://www.weber.com/US/en/blog/why-wont-your-gas-grill-get-hot-its-probably-in-bypass-mode) and your grill should get up to temp in no time!

Disappointed to find the Weber wasn't better than many other cheap grills. Parts started to wear out after 4 years but more importantly it is underpowered. There are not enough BTUs to get this rig over 500 degrees which is required to get a real seat on meats.

What sold me on the free assembled grill was the 'grate' design- allowing the fry/wok pan to be inserted into cooking area, This is a great idea for cooking veggies and shrimp, etc., but after I got home with grill I realized how cheap the frame was made. The front had a plastic cover I didn't really pay attention of that at original review. The metal top was as thin as tin foil and had some minor dents in it. The grill was unstable with the cheap frame so I returned it to Home Depot. Nice grate/cooking area 'idea' - cheaply made. How bout having something quality work- made in the good ol USA for a change?

          High quality as advertised
This is a solid, high quality grill so far (2 weeks of use). While it is expensive for the features, the promise of Weber willing to make right any issues encountered makes it worth the price tag as a long term investment.

              Awesome
As a previous Weber gas grill owner of 15 years prior to "burying" it, I was anxious to purchase another. This year for Christmas and our anniversary, this Weber arrives at my house and the 3 times Ihavevuses it. Steak and chicken and sausages turned out great. Even temp, even cooking, and moisture was the same quality as my other Weber. Happy with my gift

I am very pleased with the grill. I just wish the instructions on assembly had words and not just pictures as some things make no sense. I went to the store and look at their grill and it was assembled poorly. Also, on how to light the grill needs to be made more prominent. It is almost hidden in the other cautions and minutia. If lit improperly is just won't hit up. Okay, besides the above it is great. Very even heat, etc. No complaints. Love it.
