How long does the charge last?

Asked by Tony May 11, 2021

I have 4 bars left on the battery meter after running for an hour. So it would run at least 90 minutes with no issues, and it is my understanding that it will get up to 2 hours once it has been used a few times. I have had mine for about a month now.

Died in the middle of my lawn
It was really fun to use and I enjoyed it very much until it died. My fourth cut, just took it out with a full battery, 30 seconds later it stopped. Wheels locked up, can’t even push it. The only customer service phone number is for China. Need to get it towed out of my lawn.

Great electric lawn mower. First time to have fun while mowing the lawn (even during the Texas heat). Good quality and easy to operate. Live in the city so have a small lot (1/3 acre) and it takes about 15mins, battery usually lasts for 3-5 sessions before having to recharge the batteries. Mower came assembled, charged, and ready to go.

Great for me.
So. Guess who’s mower got parked with exactly zero effort toward storage prep? Guess who’s mower is running like a complete champ with exactly zero effort? Yup me again. Benefits of electric. Just took the cover off and charged. Nothing leaking over the winter. No oil change. No air filters, spark plugs. Just a wall plug. Today is day one of her second season. I can’t say enough good about this mower. It’s easy, and I don’t have to store gas (which makes me nervous). I love my electric tractor.

excellent mower
I started considering this more when I found out that Ryobi had an electric mower, but that it contained an ancient lead acid battery pack. When I saw that this was cheaper, and contained a lithium pack, I jumped at it. In short, the runtime is fantastic I can mow our quarter acre yard and still have more than half a battery pack left. There are lots of safety features, the dual blade mows pretty well, and the turning radius is very tight, thanks to the rear differential. Just about my only complaint is there is no suspension which makes the ride a little stiff but that’s a minor complaint in the big picture, at this price point, for this technology. Love this mower so far, and I hope to see what weibang comes out with in the future.

I am very happy with this product. I'm a senior and looking for ways to cut down the cost of landscapers. I just can't afford them for 4 times a month. It came fully assembled. Charged it for about 2 hours. Charger light went from red to green indicating was fully charged. User guide needs to be updated. ERIDER has been updated quite a bit since 2016. my advice is that you go slowly following the directions to start it and mowing. this is a tough quality product.. it moves pretty well. plenty of power. mowed the lawn in 30 minutes which is fast for me.Front yard 30x60 feet Bsck yard is 60x60 feet. Mostly flat. If you mulch, your deck is to low and the grass is wet, It will make a mess of your lawn with clumping. Check your blade sharpness. Mine came with dull blades. 1 make sure parking brake is off. 2 turn the key to ON. 3 make sure you are centered on the seat. 4 Make sure the blade yellow button is in the DOWN position 5 the power indicator gauge will light up If not reposition yourself on the seat. 6 press the FORWARD button 7 Press the accellerator foot peddle slowly down. It may take a few sections to start moving. 8 Pull the blade Yellow switch UP. It may take a few seconds to start up the blades.

My mower arrived fully assembled, so I drove it off the pallet, it was 1/2 way charged and I changed it overnight and mowed. It does great job on my lawn and is easy to operate, like the seat adjustment, I am short and can reach the pedals just fine. I use my mower to pull trash and recycling cans to the street sitting on and pulling with my hand, have small hitch, but need to adapt something to attach the hitch to the mower with. Also pulled lawn aerator.. Weibang and I mowe often and we are enjoying. it. So far so good. Good deal!

I'm very happy with this product, and so glad I got it. Pros: Tight turns. Can set it to mow in reverse. Comfortable seat. Battery lasts plenty long enough for me--it lasted longer on the 2nd charge than the 1st one charge. The mower shuts off if I leave the seat. Super quiet when the blades aren't engaged. Some people said it's slow, but I think it's fast. I actually don't go as fast as it will go, which is controlled by how much pressure is pressed on the peddle. Deck is easy to raise/lower. Fits in a small space when not using it. Easy to move when turned off. Easy to charge. Able to lift it up on its end to clean the blade area after use (key out of course). Overall easy to maneuver and use. Cons: It beeps in reverse--even when the blades aren't engaged (but since it turns tight I don't reverse much). My foot starts to slip off the forward peddle after long runs. This product makes me no longer dread mowing the yard. Now when it rains a lot and the grass grows it doesn't phase me at all. I wish I would have purchased this mower sooner.

Used it about 6 times. Don’t have a very big lawn so I decided for a small mower. Has a learning curve on how it behaves since this is battery tech. I felt the imperfection of my lawn with the bumpy ride. I need to level some part of my yard. I put the tires at 117 psi for now (I’m 145 lbs). Speed is fast enough to carry my weight. Some small slopes that I have, I still use self-prop 80v battery mower. Since this more for flat and not hilly lawn. Cuts good, I can lift upright to clean the deck with from time to time (it’s 309 lbs make sure you lift the hand break/park first, and release it b4 use or it won’t run). It has cruise, but I don’t use it. Seat should be wider for support and improvement on shock absorption. I park it fully charged for next use. Prefer it over counterpart since it’s smaller, cheaper, detachable lithuim ion battery (doesn’t need to be plugged all the time unlike other brands). Reliability, only time can tell. After using it will I still buy it? Yes, I don’t like filter, oil etc maintenance. Also loud noise and deal with gas/smoke. This works for my lawn, until the next battery powered mower with improved ride on not so perfect lawn come by.

We received this mower approximately a month ago. I wanted to wait to write the review so I could let others know how well (or not well) it works. I’m happy to say, that as of today, it’s a great little mower. I’ve never owned a riding mower before so I have nothing to compare it to but my neighbors both have big, gas powered riding mowers and I can tell you that I hate the noise and smell of them. Not to mention the fact that they are constantly complaining about the oil, gas, repairs and maintenance of them. These are the things that drove me to look into electric mowers. My husband has an electric weed whipper and he loves it and says he’d never go back to gas powered. So here we are. First of all the mower arrived in a crate, fully assembled. We are not good at assembly and this was a BIG PLUS for us! This thing is cute and small! We lifted up the blades to the highest level (as another reviewer said we should) and drove it off the wooden platform and over to the garage to charge. We plugged it in and charged it, not sure if it was fully charged on arrival but we did anyway. The manual leaves a lot to be desired, Weibang, you can do better with the manual, please have it rewritten. We were both afraid of it. We have a large field of weeds and big mustard plants. Could this little guy handle it? According to the Weibang Expert on Home Depot’s site, they said it could. So after driving it around for a little while to get used to it, we started. We kept the blades at the highest level. Yes, this mower could handle most of what it encountered. I went very slowly doing only half the width at a time, mulching my way through the field. It’s about two acres and I’m still not done with it but it’s looking pretty good. The ride is a bit bouncy but not uncomfortable. Once in a while it gets jammed up with some of the larger mustard plants and I just stop it and turn it off and unjam it. A couple of times it has turned itself off, due to bouncing I suppose. So you just stop and restart it. Not a big deal. Another reviewer said it goes too slow, well not for me. I want to go slow anyway as I want to be careful not to bounce too much or wreck it on something that I might encounter. It goes plenty fast. This isn’t a race car. If you just want to drive it around, it’s pretty fun. To look underneath it takes both myself and my husband to lift it but we’re both seniors and we can do it. I usually do about an hour at a time. I’m pretty tired after the hour. You have to pay attention to what you’re doing and constantly steer and watch. I am a little concerned because I had read on Home Depot’s site that the warranty was three years and the manual says it’s two years, so what is it Weibang? Also, we do not have any warranty card that it was supposed to come with but it did come with two serial number stickers, is that our warranty card? Not sure. All in all we are pleased with this purchase. I hope that it lasts us for awhile. This was a major purchase for us. Thank you Weibang!

Getting the mower out of the crate was a bit of a challenge. We ended up cutting all the side edges of the cardboard. Owner's manual referred to a metal frame but there was none. Owner's manuel also indicated wires needed to be connected that are under the seat. After accessing the area, wires were already connscted! Manual could also provide more details about the power level indicator and when you can expect it to run out of power. Despite the manual's limitations, the mower has worked well so far! It's compact, easy to maneuver, and has adequate power to go up the slight incline in our yard.
