This soldering station is more suited for electrical work. For wrought Iron I would think welding or gorilla glue would be better.
It can be used at the high setting with the largest flat tip installed for a large contact area. Use a fan for fumes.

If I was I would look up the melting point of silver solder and then compare it to the solder gun go from there
