Stylish and sturdy!
I was hesitant to purchase due to some other reviews mentioning poor quality, pieces arriving damaged, and difficult assembly. I am so glad that I still chose to give this item a chance. The pieces all arrived intact and free from blemishes/marks. The assembly instructions were simple, though a bit time consuming (roughly 3.5 hours for 2 nightstands).
This item turned out better than expected, and the price can’t be beat!

Cheap, very soft, scratches easily, poor quality control.
See the pics. that's right out of the box! This is barely tolerable quality. Use only if you don't really can't afford anything better. Assemble on spotless surface. It scratches extremely quickly. You see this quality and you think of end of civilization. There's about $10 worth of particle board and other crap in there.

Fine for the price but annoying to assemble
No pre-drilled holes and some of the pieces were uneven because of poor quality control, so assembly took longer than expected. Even with pre-drilling the holes myself and using some clamps, I still noticed the wood slightly splitting in places (as other reviewers have mentioned) but nothing too major. Don't trust the diagrams in the instruction booklet because some are a little off in terms of things like where to put the cam bolts. In the end, the piece does look nice, though.

Directions suck and some of the wood parts are cheap...
Directions suck and some of the wood parts are cheap enough I had some splitting even after I pre-drilled certain very small holes to make sure hanging in several nails and screws wouldn't shoot the wood but it happened in a few places anyway

Easy to build. One was packaged in the original box...
Easy to build. One was packaged in the original box and was fine but the one that was packaged clearly NOT in the original box was beat up. Customer service was quick to offer a refund/replacement/discount. I had already put it together so I chose the discount.
