I need to know if this might fit in my Hundai Sonata with seats folded or do i have to rent a truck for this ? Thank you
Asked by: Emily
The Werner response above is not accurate - this is not the MT-13; it is the MT-26. I don't know the answer however.

17 ft. Aluminum Telescoping Multi-Position Ladder with 300 lb. Load Capacity Type IA Duty Rating is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 2301.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from 13'? Not really I bought this ladder because I needed to get to the top of a 13' 6" semi trailer. After unpacking and setting it up, I leaned it against the trailer, only to realize it was about 3 feet too short. Pulled a tape measure out,and sure enough, 10' 8". I don't know where they get 13' from, but it's not in this ladder. I climbed on it anyway, to see how it felt, and to be honest,on the fourth rung, I was unsure about going any higher. I have an 8 foot fiberglass ladder that feels way more secure than this thing, and I get to the top of it regularly. I will be returning this ladder and finding a better alternative.

I bought this ladder 3 years ago and the other day when I coming down the ladder it failed. I am no where close to the weight limit. the sides gave out and it buckled. Called Werner and they could of cared less. Instead of replacing the ladder they basically said take a hike. below are images of the ladder.

The pins that lock the sliding sections of the ladder in place are cheap, they are bending and I no longer fell comfortable extending the ladder. That is when I can, the pivot point on one side is so hard to move that to get it in and out of position I need a hammer. I have tried to lubricant it with no luck. If you need a multi position ladder I would recommend going with something different. I am looking at a little giant, they may be more money but a coworker of mine has one and had a issue with it after 4 years. They sent it to little giant and they repaired it at no charge. Werner doesn't even want to talk to you when you call them about the problems with these ladders. ( This is a common complaint noted in multiple reviews) Long story DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

We bought this 4weeks ago and haven’t used it fully extended, just one extension. The wider end makes it more stable. It’s very heavy when extended once and take 2 of us (senior citizens) to move it. When not extended, its compact and easy to move. Great value for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ladder Very practical ladder. Compact, portable, lightweight, easy-to-use and many different settings. I will probably be purchasing a second one so I can use it for scaffolding

The Bad: Make no mistake, this ladder is heavy and very difficult for 1 person to move around, particularly when it's fully extended. I'm 44 yrs old, 5'11", 215 lbs and I consider myself to be above average in strength. I'm barely able to manage this ladder on my own for now, so I'm sure it will be a problem 10 years from now. It's not as bad when it's fully closed. It's also a little "bouncy" when climbing up or down at 90% extension. The Good: when fully closed, it fits perfectly in my 6.5' Truck bed. Very wide at the the base, so it's stable as a step ladder. The feet gripped my painted deck very well. Easily reached my 2 story roof.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Have worked with this ladder for years and could not... Have worked with this ladder for years and could not believe the price so I finally bought one for myself. Yes, it is a bit heavy, but the many uses you get from ONE ladder is worth the weight and set up. Need to get that light going down the stairs. You can safely place it on two stairs and feel safe that you can get the job done. Getting on a roof is easier, painting that wall going down the stairs is a breeze, and changing that odd light is all made easier. I am in no way close to 200lbs, so the 300 lbs limit means I can bring stuff up the ladder if need be. Best thing is it folds down and easy to store! The construction of this ladder should out last my use for it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good price for average product Price is substantially lower than the Little Giant ladders, so that is a pro. I had used my bro-in-laws Little Giant 22 ft multi-use ladder and was very handy. So much so, that I figured I needed to invest in one for myself. I read reviews and shopped around and i thought i would take a chance on the lower rated product for a lower price. it is not as smooth. the locking mechanism sometimes gets stuck. Not as smooth and easy to manuever as the other brand. But I probably use a ladder about 15 times per year, so Im willing to take the tradeoff. However, if I was using it on a daily basis, I would probably opt for the lighter but more expensive one.
