A:  Definitely! The steps are wide so even if you were to be on the next to top rung (not the platform) you are stable to work without having to be an acrobat. 

A:  While this ladder is 8 ft long, the podium height is 6ft.  So if you’re standing on it , and you are 6ft tall, the top of your head to the floor will be 12ft.  So there will be 1 ft distance between your head and the ceiling to work.  If that’s a comfortable amount if space based on what you’re doing, then yes (for me it is).  If you go down to the 4ft ladder, there will be 3ft between your head and the ceiling, which won’t work well.

A:  This is so confusing. A 6' ladder gives you 10'4" reach but a 8' ladder gives 14' reach? That makes on sense. Easier to understand at Lowe's where they say the Podium is 6' high for this 8' ladder. Another reply below suggests that same...
