1/2 in. x 21-1/2 in. Double Offset Bath Supply Lines for Clawfoot or Freestanding Bathtubs, Satin Nickel

NOTE: The problem with this product appears to be temporary!! I will revise this review if the problem is resolved as expected. this is a long review because I'm trying to be fair to everyone involved. ADDITIONAL NOTE: This product is sold by Westbrass through several outlets other than Home Depot. The problem probably applies to all of the product, no matter where you buy it. The short version is that Westbrass received (and have been shipping for some undetermined length of time) a whole order of unusable nuts, no one caught the problem before I told them about it, and they can't yet tell me when usable parts will be available. I ordered these supply lines for my clawfoot tub in mid July 2020. They arrived in less than a week, as promised. When I tried to install them I found that the 3/4" MIP nuts meant to connect to the faucet DO NOT FIT. I took them to my local HD to check them on the thread testers and it turns out that they are not the wrong nuts - they are the right nuts, but badly mis-manufactured. The threads are only about half as deep as they should be, and the nuts are unusable. The people at my local home depot advised me that the quickest way to get the correct nuts was to contact the manufacturer, Westbrass, directly. i did so on Monday 8/3. The woman I spoke to was helpful but skeptical of my description of the problem. She said she would have the guys in the warehouse verify they were sending me usable replacement parts before they sent them. They were to be shipped Tuesday and arrive by Thursday. Friday rolled around and the parts weren't here. I called them back to ask, spoke to the same person, and was told the parts had not even been shipped because the "warehouse is backed up" and that the earliest I could expect them was next Tuesday. I reminded her that the parts need to be checked before they're sent, and she agreed that she would do that herself and get back to me that evening. So she checked the parts - and they're all bad. The problem I had is present in their whole stock of those nuts in the Oil Rubbed Bronze finish. They will not be able to send me usable parts until they get a new shipment from their supplier, and they are currently unable to say when that will be. I will update as to whether, and how quickly, they fix this issue as they've promised. Until then be advised that this company was, as of Friday 08/07/2020, shipping an unusable product.

This is not good value! the nuts were defective and would not screw on the pipe and lines were made of thin metal and had a hairline split in the curve which caused a leak!
