Bought this to replace a Lights of America Model UCL 7000-1 fixture that melted on me (if you have one of these, I'd recommend removing it immediately. I'm not the only person this has happened to). I debated whether to get an LED fixture but I had lots of 18" bulbs due to buying bulk so decided to just get another fluorescent fixture.
This seems like a well made fixture, at least it has vent holes maybe that will keep it from overheating. When I went to mount it removed the bulb to make it easier to mark where the screws go. Getting the cover off the bulb was a challenge, really had to fight it as it didn't want to come loose. Hopefully won't have to do that very often.
Otherwise seems like a good fixture. Has a power switch and 3 pronged plug. Two mounting options, 13" spacing for the mounting holes on the backside, and I think 12.5" if you want to mount it on the edge. The instructions give all the dimensions and have marking guides too.

Quite simple to put up under kitchen cabinet. Had left screws from prior light, & this light fitted those...just right. Very pleased to be able to see kitchen preps closely!
